As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i agree, but the manner of it is still funny.
had they been outplayed away from home and lost by a couple fair do's - but a red at home. hilarious.
more than anyone in living memory have they benefited from indulgence from refs.
you do have to laugh.
especially when its been us on the receiving end of more than a few times.
touch of class that from that knobhead Ronaldo to be fair.

Agreed, but it was equally enjoyable seeing Man Utd crash out of Europe even back in the 1990s and early 2000s when we were still winning things. The fact that we're not winning anything these days doesn't mean that it's not fun seeing those wankers getting what they deserve!
Don't get me wrong - I wanted them to lose. It's just the fact that the only pleasure we - and I include myself in this - are able to get is from others misfortune because we'll never win anything, rather than it being a happiness borne from the contrast with our own 'success' - as was once the case.

So would I, but at least we'd then be able to take the piss from a position of superiority, rather than out of a desperation to fill the 'pleasure void' with something, although temporarily nice, that's definitely not as substantial as feeding on our own 'feast'!

There's nothing you and I can do about our situation though really is there? As long as the c*nts in charge continue running things they way they are we won't have anything to celebrate for a while. Does that mean I should be depressed and no longer find joy in seeing one of our bitter rivals losing in a hilarious fashion?
As for Mourinho's comments straight after the game, now there is a proper *word censored*. Best team lost blah blah wibble wibble. Take your cock out of Fergie's arse - you are not getting his job when he finally pegs it.
Not unhappy at all with result..imagine the shit we would listen to if Van P€r$i€ won a Champions league medal in his first season there.
On Van P€r$i€ remember when he was sent off at the Nou Camp when Arsenal were leading the tie two years ago...we didn't get the media sympathy then, in fact they Sky studio sneered at the thing and suggested that it didn't affect the result as we were run ragged by them. Well we were ahead, they got two goals against 10 men and Super Nick missed a chance at the end that Van P€r$i€ would have scored to put us through. I hope UEFA are consistent and ban Ferdinand for his antics after the game similar to their ban on Nasri in 2011.
Not one pundit has highlighted the fact that Rafael got away with a handball on the line, penalty and red card that didn't happen. There is a bleating hysteria coming out of Salford that the Victims would be proud of.
"one team in Europe..there is only one team in Europe " for a week anyway.

Top post, mate.
Being a Dubliner (a city plagued with "lifelong" manc fans that have never been to an actual game and struggle to name 11 manc players or who their next fixture is against ) I have to admit I very nearly whipped my cock out and splattered the TV with the unbridled joy and hilarity of seeing these fucking arseholes getting robbed. Magnificent.
And after the way they cheated us out of that 50th game at old shatford it is devine retribution. All love and praise to Jesus.
Was it a red? In the man's game most of us grew up watching it wasn't even a booking! But in the modern sanitised non contact sport that the FIFACUNTS have developed then yep it was a red.
I wonder if our couple of chelsea loving mongs on here have gotten over seeing an Ingerlish team losing...?
I've been arguing with a manc red this morning who thinks last nights ref was the biggest scandal ever. I told him it was a 50/50 red which they aren't used to. Foreign refs don't have the fear of premier league refs that they will be at league 2 if they upset slur Alex. Also told him Nani's karate kick was dangerous and he must have spending too much time with Mr Kagawa, wax on: wax off. I was told to fuck off.
The utd media is in full flow, I told my manc ex mate to look at RVPs red against Barca if he wanted to see genuine bias. Where was the press propaganda when RVP was sent off for controlling and shooting in one movement??
