Bendtner; The Leg-end

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

DB Bendy never got picked week in week out to play as a lone front man ,whereas Giroud does.
Bendy got played as a winger which he clearly isn't and a lot of the time he was on the bench and got 10/20 mins as a sub.
Like it or lump it but in my opinion he is miles better than the headless chicken that is Giroud but hey that's just my opinion .

Surely now after the drink driving ban he has the right credentials for becoming an Arsenal legend??
Last minute winner against the spuds, chaotic personal life, arrogance to flaunt the advertising rights at a major international tournament.

Apart from Alan Smith wasn't the rest of the '89 - '91 squad banned from driving due to drinking? The reason why they started coming to highbury in the coach as no fucker had a valid licence.

Bendtner played up front for Birmingham for the season in the championship and didn't even score a lot of goals there!!! He's absolute dogshit, crap, poo, fucking awful and worse than that, he thinks he's great. The guy has proven himself to be one of the biggest arse'oles of the last 5 years. (unt.

I'm convinced Giroud will prove to be better player than Bendtner. It's a moot point really though as neither are good enough to be the No. 1 Striker in a "Top 5 European Club" (Ivan's words, not mine)

Taken from Danish website, Sporten.dk

It would probably be kind to only describe Nicklas Bendter’s time on loan at Juventus as unsuccessful. He has not scored any goals in his nine appearances for the club so far this season.

So then it should not be a major surprise that the Juventus shop has never sold a Nicklas Bendtner shirt.

Bendter, not wanted by Arsenal, not wanted by Juventus fans, it seems. Still he does have the popularity of those Paddy Power y-fronts to hang his hat off.

The self proclaimed greatest of all time. Fucking idiot

The Premier League striker who has sold most shirts... and the international forward who hasn't shifted a SINGLE one!

And the man without a single shirt sale? Poor old Nicklas Bendtner.

The not-so-great Dane has not shifted a single 'Bendtner 17' shirt in the Turin club shop since his loan move to Italian giants Juventus.

RvP has sold 25.4% of all shirt sales

Bendy or Giroud?

Or put another way "would sir care for powdered glass or anthrax in his tea?"

That elephant's touch in the Nou Camp when we'd failed to muster a shot on goal......and the useless tool still had a chance to get us ahead on away goals....said it all.

He's shit, Giroud's shit, Gervinho's shit - all over promoted or signed on long term deals by Lord A-hole

I saw a graphic a while back that said Kaka had sold 1.5 million shirts in the club shop, generating over 100m Euros, well over the 60m they paid for him.

RVP has probably made up his transfer fee in shirt sales alone, let alone the bags of goals he's hauling for SAF :(

If it's true, the player's marketability really contributes a big part to what he's worth!

As for Bendtner, I wouldn't even buy his kit as a joke. Drinking and driving is a terrible thing.

Your all bitter and twisted, failing to see the larger picture ,call me as stubborn as wenger but I still believe he will eventually come good ,not perhaps to the Zenith plinth his ego takes him too but a solid striker................that is of course unless he kills himself in yet another car crash !
