As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wenger is such a twat. Play a weakened side in the one competition we actually have a chance to win, so we can focus on one that we haven't a hope in hell of winning. We lose both the game that we rested players in & the game that we rested players in anticipation of, then subsequently rest players for the second leg because it's a lost cause, to focus on a game in the race for the virtual trophy.
Absolute insanity. Such fucked up logic that it makes my head hurt. Arsene "I don't know what i'm doing" Wenger in "How to eliminate yourself from 2 competitions in 5 days"
Weakened side so that when they get thrashed, he can point to them not being his first choice players and that it doesn't really count. He'll then play a stronger side at Swansea and claim that he's an amazing genius because he knew all along that we would lose to Bayern and he was focusing on that precious 4th/ 5th/ 6th spot. I suppose that's what 30 years or half a day in football does for you.
Last season we got hammered in the 1st leg, then pulled a 3-0 performance out the bag in the 2nd leg. We are capable of pulling a result like that out the bag. They have Schweinsteiger, Boatang and now Ribery out. Dare I say that's a bigger loss than us losing Jack and Sagna. Jenkinson has done well at RB, and Gibbs is a better left back than TV5, so we are stronger than the first leg. IMO flappy in for Chesney in poor form won't make a difference.
Hoping he'll give The Ox a chance in the middle, remember how he drove the team against Milan last season. Arteta, Ox and Carzola, supporting Podolski, Theo and Gervinho (yes, Gervinho) leaving Giroud on the bench.
No one, and I mean, no one really expects us to pull a result out the bag, which is why I fancy our chances against an over confident Bayern.
What I don't understand is whether - 10 days after our last match - the Arsenal injury curse has mysteriously struck again, or whether this is an indication that Wenger thinks we are already out and is saving them for Swansea....
