Exactly. Wenker will be crowing about this now. This was the worst case scenario.

ref could have added 6 mins, when you have a twat like Arteta giving pathetic fouls away every minute you aren't going to get the ball.

Like I said earlier, footballers intelligence is about as common as a Dodo.

Great result, very ordinary performance against a team who probably played their worst game of the last 5 seasons. Gives Wenger excuses.....ref this, not enough time added.....he won't say a thing about our fucking idiot players.

And 4 substitutions???

Absolutely shocking performance by an awful refereeing team.

Aside from that I thought we played well defensively, but we looked totally inept up front.
Transition play from Arteta, Rosicky, Cazorla, Walcott, Ox was shocking.
For a team needing to score 3 goals to go through, we have 4 shots at goal in 90 minutes of football - you're doing well if you convert 3 in 4 chances.

For Munich, Robben is a selfish fucker and will do them more harm than good in the later rounds of the tournament. How Kroos scored that volley against us considering his accuracy tonight is incredible. But in the end a solid back 4 and 3 defensive midfielders allowed them to block out the game. This tactic only made possible by a terrible defensive performance in the first leg

I love Arsenal with a passion but I would have taken a 6-0 defeat over that. One step forward and two steps back should be our fucking motto

Similar to Milan last year. As mentioned before, just do enough to keep old senile one with ready made excuses. Great result as a one-off, but Bayern's performance massively influenced by the first leg score where all the damage was done. It's just so frustrating!!!!

you had them on their balls...just a little more power towards the goal...all the best for the rest of the season!

On a positive note I thought Mertesacker and Koscielny were immense.

What a dreadful game

I know we won 2-0, but we couldn't string any passes together all night and Bayern were just as bad! - abysmal stuff. I think there's a genuine call for BOTH teams to be eliminated tonight. Reinstate Milan!

Pleased for Flappy and the defence though. They deserve credit.

Arteta needs a good slap though; I think some of that hair gel has seeped into his brain  - awful free-kick in the 90th minute and then a needless foul (or 2) that allowed Bayern to kill the game. Idiot. :banghead:

Anyway, result was FAR better than I expected but the performance, from an offensive point of view, was pretty awful if we're honest. A real lack of quality.
