First time in a long time I can say I've been really proud of an Arsenal performance. Not just because we won away to a top team, but because we defended properly and everyone put in a shift. Now I known how Blackburn etc must feel when they play us, those Bayern players stank of arrogance.

Pity that Rosicky decided to swap touches with Gervinho for the night and Arteta left his brain at home. Ref was a sidgrace as shown by Neuer somehow emerging from the scrum with ball still in hand and no booking and there only being 3 mins of stoppage time. These refs have zero accountability.

Fuck the Wenger chat, we've still gone out last 16 and he doesn't need an excuse - he's not getting fired anyway. Just enjoy a bit of pride for once. Although its so frustrating that we only perfork like we can once in a blue moon.

A goal three minutes in and a goal three minutes from the end but fuck all really in between. The game was crying out for a bit of pace from the Ox at half-time and a few balls in the box to ruffle the Bayern feathers but as usual we get neither from Wenger. If we had got the second with 15-20 minutes left, their nerves would have got the better of them, I'm certain. They have this thing about English teams after Manure and the Chavs in those finals and we should have exploited their worries by going after them. We didn't. I swear Wenker went there with no other objective than to avoid a thrashing, even insomuch as not bringing Ox on earlier in case it strected the game. He would have taken a 1-0 rather than having go at getting number 2 or 3. To think what a team under Fergiscum would have done if they had scored after three minutes makes me shudder when I look at the usual tap, tap bollox we produced.

Cheers Thomas. Bayern were bad tonight, and we should have / could have just done them. Poor, poor Bayern, but a pretty good display by Arsenal that could have been a whole lot better. 20% more would have seen us through.

Fucking incredible, we win 0 2 away to Bayern and all ye can do is moan. We lost the tie at home,surerly ye can appreciate that they did us proud tonight., This was the performance ye have all been screaming for the last few weeks. They dug in and got a result.
