Pod is a lazy fucker that doesn't deserve to be in the team. He hasnt applied himself to playing on the left at all.
but he's not a winger, hes a centre forward or does everybody even proven german internationals have to start on the wing to prove themselves for us before being moved into their rightful position?

That's an unexpected 3 points for me.

It sounds like Ox had a good game, and Swansea were a little out of sorts.

If the Chavs lose that game in hand we are right back in there but the Everton game is a six pointer. Lose that and we're 6th....

todays highlights
We were lucky with that michu miss, but great work by santi for the first.

Nice sideways pass by the welsh Denison and a cool finish by Gerv.

I'm Pleased we won but am mentally prepared for this being a blip. Even Villa win sometimes.

I might be a grinch but I've been let down too many times not to think that this win and the last were inspite of the coaching and preparation, not because of it.

What a fucking day - beat the dirty Jack bastards and Wales molested England in the rugger.

Not a great game to watch and we looked toothless going forward (really miss Jack's mini-bursts past players in midfield) but an important win nonetheless and although there were a few hairy moments in the first half thought we were by and large untroubled at the back.

I personally don't buy into this Pod being a lazy fucker argument, just don't see it myself.

We could have done with a striker who likes to smash the ball through the net. Very frustrating no end product.

Good performance, particularly in the 2nd half and a 2-0 win there is impressive.
On the downside, another anonymous performance from Giroud.

Good win albeit against a Swansea side that seems to have lost a bit of their sparkle in recent weeks. Glad Fab kept his place though he wasn't really tested today. Fingers crossed for at least one helpful result tomorrow.

Vital win! 8)

We're not a very good side these days, so I guess it's pointless at this stage to complain about the poor passing and lack of end product as that's pretty much a given this season  - no, lets just hope we can get this pig of a season finished in a positive way (i.e. nicking 4th from one of our rivals) and move on.

Anyway, important win today! - the positives are that we found a way to win the game, kept a clean sheet and look to have found a bit of determination and pride 8) - fuck know's why it's taken three quarters of a season and elimination from every cup competition to get going, but lets hope they can keep it up for 9 more games.

Important win today. Reading up next! :barscarf:
