Emirates Cup 2013/Galatasary and Trouble at Overseas Games

There was a short video clip of a guy throwing a plastic chair
they showed it tons on TV - I saw it on the Scottish news but as a much longer clip,
Gooner bloke drinking, chatting to his mates, chair flies over and hits him in the back
when he turns round the couple of youngish Gala fans who just threw it are heading towards him
he throws it back.
Very different evidence with the context.

I believe some postmen involved, in the video, were fired
and they had that overturned eventually

The post office guys only got their jobs back because they took Royal Mail to a tribunal and won their case......but you can imagine what it was like working for a company who 'were told' they had to employ you again. It had all been based on TV pictures and the papers.
It's the only time in my life I've seen guys walking the streets openly carrying large knives, and cars and scooters were going round (turks), 'spotting' small groups of Gooners they could attack and then using a mobile to inform a mob nearby.

There WILL be trouble if Gala come to the Emirates. Guaranteed. A lot of people still bear grudges (and many rightly so).

What a disgrace. Yet another low for a club that has swept away its history, tradition and class in favor of money.

I cannot blame the club for trying to "reach out" to Galatasary as a club, to move forward etc.
But I fear it is a case of "Nice idea, but ill thought out".
I think there will more than likely be trouble, and the game will act as a target for fans of all UK clubs who want to fight.

Northbank - yeah, he got orders to turn down the engine and look after the tires; apparently Seb didn't get the message (or so he says)
