This I cannot see. Toure and Gallas will be at centre back. Either Eboue or Hoyte will fill in at RB. I'm going to be at Butlins and will miss the game but will be totally shocked to see if we line up another way.

Whilst being taller than Gallas and Toure, Senderos cannot out jump them, he barely gets his feet off the ground. If he does start at CB look for him to get sucked in up field turned quickly and isolating whoever is partnering him at the back as he won't have the pace to recover.

Toure has not been that good as right back or as right midfield.

When he breaks forward in wide positions he seems lost.

He is much more effective in the centre.

Eboue has been an average right back in my opinion, for all his powerful runs, he is a little suspect position wise.

I would try Hoyte. Yes Hoyte. I know he is not trusted by most fans, but rate him as a ball winner, and he would keep it simple.

What Senderos does better than both Gallas and Toure is attack the first ball and that will be critical against Bolton. And lets not forget Bolton are a long ball team, they arnt renouned for turning and getting behind defenders.

This I promise will happen against whoever plays aganst us whilst Senderos is in the team as they will change their style to expose his weakness. The opposition defence will play long balls yes but not right upto our back four, they will drop in between back four and midfield, causing Senderos to come up and as you rightly say attack the first ball. Now the majority on times he'll get there first or get a block in, but likely he'll be up against Davies who is good in the air. When he flicks it past Phil to someone wide, we'll have a one on one against the full back with one CB in the middle to deal with any cross as Phil will still be trying to get back. It might not happen every time but I gaurantee it will happen, I've seen it too many times this year.

Only concern I do have though is that it generally takes senderos a few games to back into stride and god knows how dropping him recently has affected his confidence
It worries me too, let us hope he doesn't anything too costly till he gets into form again.

I would play Toure right back swiss Phil in the centre.Bolton will play a lot of long ball and look how the two centre halves coped last week. And Theo must start.

Clichy - Gallas - Senderos - Toure

That's my back four... at least for today...

But also, I would rather not change the back four btw today and Wed.

Theo for Eboue as well, please. Manu just does not cut it as an Arsenal player. It's time to go. It would only encourage Bolton if they see our ex-right back being slotted in there today.

Let's hope we see Sagna back soon. He is our quiet achiever and it was great to see him score at the Bridge, esp after the season he has had on and off the pitch.
