UFOs - yes or no?

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

It was a cigar shaped object hovering in the sky, then it vertically accelerated out of sight in a matter of seconds. It was like no other flying vechile I'd ever seen before.
Didn't change my life or anything weird like that, but I sure do remember seeing it. The cars around me saw it too as the car in front hit the brakes once the UFO disappeared from sight.

Sounds like the plot to a horror moovie!!

Yep, still no.

They ARE out there, but they are NOT here. And they might only be bacteria.
It's a mathematical certainty that there is life elsewhere in the universe which is far more advanced than bacteria.

Consider how far life has developed on this planet in just a few million years. And our planet is extremely young in comparison to billions of other planets which are in the "Goldilocks Zone" around their particular suns.

There could be lifeforms a million times more intelligent than we consider ourselves to be. And with capabilities which we couldn't begin to imagine at our level of intelligence.
You mean like millions of Stephen Hawkings wheeling around solving all the mysteries of the universe.........who would do the cooking :?

Can't tell if your taking the piss, smoking what IHH does or are mad as a box of frogs but I would think that if you did see something it could be logically explained.

Maybe a chinhook :?

I would love to see an alien (like paul 8) but if these aliens are anything like humans and are that far advanced of us then it aint gonna be a very friendly visit, they will probably be after our water and other resources (watch the films guys  )i and we will just be an ant like lifeform to them.

If they were that far advanced and were friendly why don't they just visit all the world leaders, why bother visiting remote areas such as deserts etc, just doesn't make sense (much like the posters on here  ).

I'm neither of the three. I definitely saw something. At first I thought is was a helicopter but the light was too bright, and when it vertically shot up in the sky it was quite unusual. I've been to quite a few air shows and seen some amazing aircraft acrobatics but nothing has matched that. If you've seen the eurojet take off then go vertically straight up it was similar to that but 10 times as quick and from a hovering position. Doesn't mean I believe it was an alien craft.
As for the Nevada story totally true. At the end of the highway 375 there is a facility where the astronauts practiced the moon landing walks. Similar to the stage set of Capricorn One. Does makes you think twice about the moon landings. Also, stopped off at Roswell for the night went for a trek the following day to find the location of the alleged UFO crash site. Really disappointing there's not even a plague to say "UFO found here". You go to places looking for answers and its just massively disappointing. Visiting the UFO exhibit in "downtown" Roswell just makes the events of 1949 totally stage managed. The film ET is more realistic than the Roswell incident.

Sounds spooky mate, could've been worse, they could have abducted you and what with all the stories of anal probing by these aliens you would do well to carry some KY Jelly with you if you travel that route again
