It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Yep, couldn't agree more - one of my favourite films!
Actually, the Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters song is also in Almost Famous. It's the seen immediately before the gorgeous Penny Lane takes an overdose.
SPOILER
Shit film. Timid, pimply, nice guy loser from North Bumfuck, Incestiana wants to see the big bad world so off he goes on his travels, where he ends up writing about other people getting laid, and watches on as the girl he’s desperately in love with gets fucked like a groupie whore by the guy he idolises.
So, what exactly was it about the film that resonated with you, mate?

Maybe I'm not of the right age but, that Bowie single is absolute shite.
Haven't heard the Album so can't comment on what it's like, but having to listen (against my will) to radio 2 it seems it's humanly impossible, and perhaps illegal!?, to say anything against David Bowie!
I will have a listen to the album tho as I am quite Intrigued

A big old from me Chippy.
So what are you listening to?
With regards to these Chippy? Someone else pointed me in the direction of Bastille and I couldn't find anything that I was impressed with. The other one I hadn't heard of until your post so I pulled some up on you tube and again was disappointed.
Feel free to direct to some of your favourite tracks.
Bastille album is good but maybe a bit samey for my liking. A bit like momford and sons, I never actually seek out to listen to their music but appreciate it when it comes on the radio etc.
Looking forward to seeing both of em at glastonbury.
