Olivier Giroud - Another Alan Smith or "Le Chapman"?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Mother Fucker is just a phrase. I call everybody mother fucker. Even myself.

As in, "This Mother Fucker thinks.................."

Now, if I'd called him "you" mother fucker, I might be being a bit rude. Mother fuckers

History is written by the winners my man.

And I assure you, when people look back at our history in years to come, not one mother fucker will find a passage that relates to Olivier Giroud firing Arsenal to title glory.

Right here, right now Arsenal are an average club going no-where fast. We have a superb history but then again so does Liverpool. And how many sons of bitches are tired of hearing that lot ramble on about the glory years?

totally non existent against west brom today,he did fuck all when we we winning then did fuck all when we went down to ten men.the bloke cant hold the ball up to save his life,he offered us no outlet at all once we'd gone down to ten, what a waste of space,he isnt good enough for us,i dont see an argument in his favour :(

Agreed, totally inept when we needed him most today.

Thing is though, if Giroud isn't taking the pressure off us by winning headers, holding up the ball and harrying the WBA players in possession, then why did Wenger keep him on?? :? - he has no pace, so if he's useless at everything a big man SHOULD be good at, why not bring on Podolski or even use Chamberlain's pace up front?? - Groud was no help whatsoever, and even chose to shoot in the 94th minute instead of running the clock down at the corner flag! Ridiculous.

i was screaming for Pod to come on,west brom had it so easy against Giroud, infact they could have pushed everybody up into our half and still not had to worry.Pod would have given them something to think about and turned the game back in our favour possesion wise possibly, you are right Giroud is shit at everything a big man should be good at

Nobody's saying leading the line with 10 men when nobody is putting their foot on the ball is easy. But Giroud was absolutely useless. He looked absolutely fucked but it doesn't really matter whether it was fatigue or laziness that he wasn't getting to enough clearances and he wasn't chasing the ball enough. It's not sufficient to jump for the odd aerial ball.

Podolski is a player who would have come on and run his bollocks off for what was left, would have found himself in the right position to actually make an impact more often, is physical and able to hold the ball up and also is adept at running at players and beating them if he gets the ball down.

He must have fucked Wenger's daughter or something, surely?

Very disappointed with Giroud and BFG today, both dreadful.

Poldi is hands-down the best striker we have but is more out of favour than..well, ... you get the idea.

Fuck knows what he's done but will probably be another farmed out on loan for the remainder of his time with us while Gervinho & Giroud continue to embarrass up front.
