Feelgood thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Feelgood thread

Post by Top Londoner »

Okay chaps.

How about a feelgood thread.

Someone (lefty?) put up a link to St. Totteringham's Day history fairly recently.

As there has been a black cloud over this Monday, due to the death of a great big ----.
I thought it might be a distraction to look forward to the end of season run in with some renewed enthusiasm and reflection upon it's history.

Here is the link. It reads well.

http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~mike ... story.html

augie/donaldo. this is a thread meant for distraction and not really for banging a drum. geddit.

I'm over the fucking moon me.......... after tonight's result it's looking increasingly likely I'm going to have the pleasure of watching the premiership title be won at the grove for the first time, unfortunately by the fucking away team!

I feel like this is going to happen after today's result.

Great, cue the "we've won more trophies on your patch than you have" comments from those red wanks.

Seeing as this is the feel good thread, what say you we actually beat man utd when we play them? I couldn't see us beating city last season in their run in tbh. BUT it's a funny old game innit!

This abortion of a season is nearly over and we are one season closer to Wenger's exit. I feel good about both of those.

Potential 'Happy Moments' still to come this season:

1) Pulis' face as he and his orcs sink into the Championship

2) Us sending 'Arry and his shit team of mercenaries back to where they belong

3) The Scum missing out on the CL (even I thought we'd fucked it up beyond all hope this season)

4) The Victims finishing below Everton.

Plenty outside the PL, like Blackburn and their fourteenth (probably) manager heading for L1 and the mighty Gills winning L2).
Whatever happens to us, each and every one of the above will brighten my day.

Cheers for bringing it back to the feelgood moments. There are a million enough "we are s**t " threads.

My feel good moment's are knowing we may finally have a decent set of Fb's for the first time since Lauren and that chavvy vermin, now in chav heave left and Arry's face in meltdown at about 5:58 on Sunday evening. Couldn't stop laughing all night

Phew. For a second there I thought this thread was going to be about the early to mid seventies pub rock band that had a Top Ten hit single in 1979, with "Milk and Alcohol".

Nice little read that, cheers dude!

I love the late 80's and in particular the acid house explosion. Class of 88 by Wayne Anthony is a good read on the subject.

Now if I could only find that time machine....
