As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Actually not, was watching Real and just switched to Dortmund late on. Still, doesn't really justify that 3rd Dortmund goal to be given: 4! players played offside in the set up, and the actual goal scorer later on. I do prefer Dortmund to Bayern, just hope neither wins the CL.

Tell me about it, cannot believe the goal was given.Seeing as all 4 Dortmund players were offside when the ball was crossed in. Probably justice as Malaga's second goal was also offside.
Winning a game like that's got to give you some confidence going into the semi.
Looks like it'll be a German/Spanish name on that trophyunless big nose and Beckham can pull off an upset in the nou camp tomorrow.
You would think that coming from 4-0 down against Reading would give us some confidence to beat a League Two side in the next round too
I meant a proepr team with a manager that plans not our Inspector Clueless and 11 Kato's.
Anyway wtf is it with UEFA and added time. Dortmund spent a good 30-40secs celebrating their goal and yet the game ended at exactly 94mins...how the f**k is that fair on the opposition

It's fair because it favoured the bigger club who were also playing at home. That's the only accountability CL referees have.

How very true, two wrongs don't really make a right.
Four Dortmund players offside when the ball comes in, as if they were the ones defending their own penalty box!
If officials are just going to wave play on, we might as well pack up and go home.
Elsewhere Cardiff are 1-0 up, more or less tied up promotion now. That'll be a shitty team to travel to in the Sheffield United mould, just kick lumps out of you.
It's between Dull Shitty, Watford and palace for the other spot btw. No prizes for guessing which one I don't want coming up
Just saw the winning goal - what a fucking spineless linesman. 4 of them clearly standing offside when the ball comes in.
Can't even run the old "not interfering with play" line because one of them heads it to another who squares for a third to score.
Unfortunately this is the standard of officiating that passes without question from the authorities at UEFA provided that it results in the bigger, more popular and more entertaining team progressing.
As has been repeatedly said Malaga's second was offside as well. But yes whereas that was borderline I was just waiting for the linesman to raise his flag for the Dortmund one as it was so obvious. And then when the bloke tapped it into the empty net from half an inch out with just the defender on the line! Not that I mind as i like Dortmund. They, and Bayern to some extent, represent the club we should be
