SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm well aware of that as a huge fan of the Bundesliga and German football. I was referring to their perceived lack of a sense of humour (which is also false)

I was joking about that Dortmund picture, but now when I see that it's true, I'm quite happy Malaga is winning :D :barscarf:

Let's hope it does not affect mental strength of Santi and Nacho when they see their former club in semi final of CL

Well that's ship has sailed.

At least Isco's sale value should be a little bit lower with no semi-final appearance and with them being banned from Europe next year.

I've been impressed with Julio Cesar and, at 33, he's the right age, with tons of experience. He should be available at a reasonable price when 'Arry gets QPR relegated.

Am and always have been a huge David Dein fan but he can fcuk right off with his comments about how wenker will finally spend big this summer -

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sp ... -Dein.html

As many others have already said, I wouldnt trust wenger to spend £4.99 in the local corner shop much less millions on more players of the calibre of klingon, giroud etc

I would love to see DD return to the club as chairman or some such capacity but I wouldnt want it to happen until after we get shot of wenger cos otherwise wenger will still be there long after I die  :banghead:

Totally agree Augie - whatever your views on Dein if he came in before Wenger left we'd never fucking get rid of him.

Read in the Mirror that Wenger is after Goetze, Lewandowski and Lars Bender - once again silly season is upon us.

How long till the £70 million "warchest" is announced by the tabloids?!!!

Total and utter bollocks, every last word.

Cesar is a motivated by one thing. As shown by his last career move. He'll go wherever the money is highest, and as usual there will be somebody (probably in Italy) willing to pay him far more than we would.

That's if we wanted to sign him at all.
