we're gonna lose and it's my fault
got totally lashed last night woke up at HT - phone alarm was supposed to wake me up
couldn't find phone - called it, just rang and rang.
Assumed I'd ditched it in the club or the cab

When they scored said I'd far rather 3 points than my phone...
of course we got the comeback
but I found the phone - somehow eejit drunk JD put it on silent and hid it under the bed

I think I've betrayed the football gods with fone AND fitba recoveries

how did Everton play v QPR? Were Fellaini and Pienaar still suspended?

After yesterday i am not convinced Jack will play or that he will play again this season. It was (in hindsight) a mistake to play him yesterday. I fear that Moyes has "intelligently " put pressure on the referee by his comments about yesterday's penalty. How can he have been a pundit on MOTD ? , hardly unbiased at this stage of the season.
2-2 draw, we will only get any positive result if Gervinho is locked outside the stadium. How can Podolski be on the bench and Gervinho on the pitch at any serious football club ?

Agree with you about gervinho, but podolski come on the geezer is a lazy fucker. His touch was awful and the goal shouldn't have stood. For a player who is a German international, I do not think he has applied himself well at arsenal. Clearly this has annoyed wenger, as has his attitude at times.

What a load of bollocks Nutflush :banghead: If wenger were to be annoyed by players not applying themselves then please explain Gervinho, Sagna being in the starting line up yesterday.
Podolski is a quality player and a seasoned international, I reckon he has challenged Wenger as to why the likes of Giroud, who is possibly one of the worst finishers I have seen, gets to start up front whilst he is on the bench or forced to play wide, and that's what has annoyed the fucking dictator.

Yeah, but not because of anything that Podolski did wrong.

F off, seriously what games do you watch. If you go week in week out you will see that the bloke is a lazy fucker.

As for the german internationals we have in our squad, its safe to say that they aren't a patch on some of the players germany have produced down the years. Would mert or pod start for say Bayern Munich, definitely not, would they make it into the manure/city team probably not. So why should we put up with this shite.

As for gervinho, its not like wenger has had much choice in recent weeks with injuries to other players. And one thing he does do if his end product is shite is put in a shift. Its laughable that gooners rate pod, just shows how far back we've come over the last 5 years.

I just don't agree with people's assessment of Podolski as lazy. In the first 5 games or so of this season (where we actually implemented those tactic thingys) he was busting his bollocks every game to give us an outlet down the left and supporting Giroud, but tracking back every single time we lost the ball to make sure Gibbs was never isolated (which has been a major downfall for us in the last few years).

So he might not be as good a footballer as Ribery or Robben - that in itself says nothing, especially when you're comparing him to Gervinho.

And distance covered may be a large part of 'putting in a shift' but it's not the only component - it's about making other people's jobs easier. Had Podolski come on last week against WBA you can bet your bottom dollar that he would have picked up the ball and run at players, gaining ground and giving us a bit of relief. Just like earlier in the season when he was getting back and harrying attacking full-backs and wingers and generally supporting Gibbs, making his life much easier, and also getting up the field to help Giroud out. Gervinho on the other hand will float about not really offering anything defensively, and when he picks up the ball it's alarming how often he gives the ball away with team-mates having committed to going forward. Might not be lazy but he damn sure makes everyone else work much harder with his lack of a brain and footballing ability. Gervinho won't take on any responsibility.

Frankly I couldn't give a flying fuck whether or not he's one of Germany's best or not - despite being banished to the wing until December and to the bench since then he's scored quite an impressive amount of goals and is the only forward we have who looks a remotely natural finisher.

How can you seriously put up a strong defence for Gervinho purely because he chases back after giving the ball away for the 30th time in a game but 'laugh' at others for rating a player who, despite clearly suffering from some form of AFC politics, can actually create and score goals and is one of the only players who will raise the team's tempo when he comes off the bench.

podolski lazy? fucking hell nutty, he is one of the hardest workers in our squad, he tracks back, puts in crosses, beats players and is much more dangerous than Giroud. Did you see his performances at reading and newcastle at home?
