Re: Everton at home
Nearly half-hour in and we've not looked like getting near creating a real chance. They are well organised and defensively drilled but if we were a better team or even playing as well as we could we would be zipping it round, making them chase the ball and punishing them for over-committing.
As it is we look clueless and pedestrian. Unless Wilshere has suddenly become an average footballer in the last few weeks then he is nowhere near fitness.
We don't know how to deal with their tactics so instead of changing things we keep doing exactly the same things and invest all our efforts into playing up and moaning - just like our manager.

Moyes has done a very good pre match job on the ref - he's bottling it and not giving us anything letting Everton foul all game so far,

Gibson should be off without a shadow of a doubt but some on here will say otherwise no doubt.

Re: Everton at home
That is without doubt a yellow card any other day of the week, exacerbated by the fact it was committed because Baines was out of position and the ref booking Pienaar for exactly the same thing 2 mins later. Don't have any time for our complaining over non-issues but fucking annoying when referees allow players to get away with cynical fouls to break up play and stop counter-attacks.

Gibosn elbowed Arteta just before the Theo foul but there was no replay, no doubt had it been the other way round we would be seeing it for the 40th time already

I love wilshere's toughness and like of a hard tackle......tonight he is nothing like that and if saying that makes me a non Gooner then your standards to qualify as a Gooner are as wacky as jd's

Re: Everton at home
If Gibson wasnt already on a yellow, he would have been booked for that, i think the ref thought a sending off for that would be harsh but he's now walking a very thin line.
games not really sparked into life yet, Everton have had the best chances so far but the ball is bouncing around in midfield mostly with both teams giving it away sloppily. not a good game so far.
Wilshere is still clearly not fit, looked awful against Norwich and not really improved in this game but the midfield is very crowded and he's being pressed very tightly.
How did Giroud skew that so wide?

I want out of top 4 but then again so does many Gooners. I want wenger gone but then so does many Gooners. That is a far cry from wishing everything against us and my feelings are not that different to many others

Boo fuckin hoo, no team has a right to win things and as we have the 4th highest wage bill then 4th is realistic but you have admitted that you want us to lose thus out of the top 4, why not watch something else till your dreams come trueaugie wrote:LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:augie wrote:LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:You sure you support The Arsenal........augie wrote:Does wilshere think that this is a night at the fcuking ballet ? Re: Everton at home
sorry to disappoint but i really dont see Arsene stepping down or being given the boot if we finish outside the top 4 so how about supporting the team and wanting the best possible result?augie wrote:LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:augie wrote:LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:You sure you support The Arsenal........augie wrote:Does wilshere think that this is a night at the fcuking ballet ? if you support or love the team, you want the best for them at every stage, if you want them (team and manager) to fail, then what type of support is that and what kind of supporter are you?
