Really Define him ''putting a shift in'' he hardly pressed their centre halfs at all and was mainly jogging at them, if that's putting a shift in then I must have been watching a different game!

Not that we would have deserved them. But there are so many occasions where he's cost us points this year. And I'm not talking about the scenario if he'd have scored every half-chance that fell his way. I'm talking about the number of absolute sitters he has missed that are bread and butter for a top striker.
The writing was really on the wall when he scuffed 2 points after 5 mins in an Arsenal shirt against Sunderland and lost us a point against Chelsea by somehow missing an easy chance late on.

what i meant was at least he ran about a bit and broke into a little sweat, the blokes so out of his depth at this level its untrue

Not a great result for us but we can afford a few draws before the season is out, Everton are out of it now I think as they'd probably need to win all 5 and have to go to Sunderland, Liverpool and Chelsea and their record at the latter two is pretty woeful.

I don't even think he did that much Mark, he doesn't press the centre half's at all and ambles about as if he doesn't want to put his barnet out of place, he's too weak, too slow and far too shit!
I honestly think we have a tougher fixture list remaining than Spurs
3/5 games are away from home
1 of the 2 games at home is UTD, which means its a foregone conclusion. The other is Wigan, who yeah we should beat easily but will be fighting for survival.
Spurs have 2 games which you can bank on them winning: SOTON and Sunderland at home.

It's the fact it's the same sort of miss 90% of the time as well that makes it worse. Skewed high & wide cos he snatched at it & went for 2 much power. He's got the composure of an epilectic around a bus load of japanese tourists.

to be fair you are right,he was a bag of w@nk again
Horribly frustrating perfomance with very little quality, but we did have chances to win it.
Why on earth did Wilshere and Theo start today?
I like Wilshere (obviously) but he shouldn't be an automatic starter when he's clearly out of touch. For the second game running, it feels like we sacrificed much of the game as a Jack Wilshere fitness exercise, and only got going once he was finally taken off and Cazorla moved centrally!
As for Theo - his form was iffy before his injury, so how come he walks straight back into the side after a spell out injured? - surely Podolski and Chamberlain would have been better options? - both looked sharp against Norwich and sharp today, yet we had to put up with Theo's no show for 70mins
It just feels like Jack and Theo were picked as a fitness exercise rather than deserving their place against Everton. We should have gone with in form players and taken the game to Everton.

I'm not sure if it is tougher. They've got Citeh on Sunday, have to go to Chelsea where they never get anything, and Sunderland look a bit rejuvenated under Di Canio but might still be fighting for a point. We need Newcastle to pick up points over the next few games so they aren't fighting on the last day of the season. I think it will go to the last day but we should just scrape in. God, typing that shows how far we've fallen! Fingers crossed.
All us for the last 20 mins or so but the lack of quality cost us.
Ox should have shot, 1v1 but tight(ish) angle still a shot across the keeper would score 7/10 times.
Giroud should have scored at least 1 of the 3 decent chances he had this evening.
A tough, physical match which only opened up when we started pressing forward with more urgency (as per every game for the last 5 years) and actually running at opponenents, trying to move in behind them.
The loss of 2 points may come back to haunt us unless we beat Fulham on Saturday, where we often seem to struggle.
btw I thought Ramsey had a decent game, put tackles in and was better on the ball than he has been for ages.
Kos was good. gibbs did well too absolutely pointless putting Monreal on for 1 min.

If they beat either City or Chelsea I think its game over.

That's the thing - you can rationalise almost any fixture as being tricky at this point of the season. At the end of the day if we play to our potential we will be fine because our 3 away games are against teams who we are much better than. Spurs and/or Chelsea will drop quite a few points still. Reality is that certainly us an Spurs and maybe Chelsea will continue to defy form and logic with performances and results.
wenger HAS to be sacked now...any propper team would have smashed a lowley team of alsorans like everton, this on the back of 2 disgeceful desperat performances against the 2 smallest clubs in the league
