Do hate 'Arry but they're already down, would be disappointing if the Orcs took all 3 points back to Mordor.

May have done it last few years but no signs of Wigan pulling off a ridiculous string of results this season, really need to get at least a point at Upton Park.

Happy Arry is probably doing the old pal's act with his close mate Pullis, knowing QPR are gone, so he is doing Stoke a favour and trying to keep them up,

wouldn't be surprised if Pullis has left a little brown envelope in happy arry's orfice :D

I hope that was meant to be "office" and not "orifice". Grim.

Everton look like they've blown their CL chances losing to Sunlun.

Yeah thanks arry for keeping the worst football team in the premier league :banghead:  .

Still think Tony penis will get sacked come end of the season as can't believe even the missing links up there in Stoke will stand for his sh*te of non-football for another season.

Let's face it, they'll only stay up because Wigan'sannual great escape might just fall short and QPR/Reading are terrible

Just seen the highlights qpr v Stoke RFC and jeesus how sh*t do you have to be to rely on Clint Hill and to get beaten at Home by the worst away team in the prem

Just watched highlights of the Sunderland v Everton game, and I don't understand why Mignolet wasn't sent off for handling that back-pass :o ... and I'm baffled why MOTD didn't think it was even worthy of discussion during their "analysis"

For me it's an interesting quirk of the current laws.

For those who didn't see it, a Sunderland defender attempted a back-pass to Mignolet but got too much on it and it was flying into the back of the net until Mignolet deliberately used his hand to tip it round the post...

It's 100% deliberate and 100% denying a goalscoring opportunity (in fact, it was going in!) so why do the laws only allow a free-kick in the box? why did he only get a yellow? and why is it not seen as controversial? :? - he knew he wasn't allowed to handle it so the fact he's a keeper should be irrelevant; he should be treated the same as an outfield player, and it's fair to say it would definitely have been a penalty AND a red card if a defender had handled the ball in the exact situation... and that's surely wrong? :?

Not that I care (and I'm playing devil's advocate a little really) but still - I don't understand the lack of any outcry whatsoever! :o

It's a good point - I remember years and years ago Seaman diving on a rogue backpass as it was heading straight to Shearer, and I'm sure there have been plenty of exams.

I imagine there must be something in the laws either specifying that it doesn't attract a red card or more likely categorising it as something that is then not covered by cautions/sending offs. I presume so anyway because there's never been any debate over it.

Probably an odd quirk as you say, like how 'obstruction' used to be an indirect FK until 2000s. I guess you could argue there's trouble deciding whether or not it's intentional because the GK may have genuinely thought in some instances it wasn't a backpass but then that doesn't go for denying a goalscoring opportunity generally :?

Honestly think Spurs v City is the biggest game of the season, for us. If Spurs win I think we're in trouble.
