Do Wenger and Gazidis get a medal for their contribution to Manure winning the league title?

gotta agree with perry.Perryashburtongroves wrote:And they don't sell their best players every year, they invest in the team, have a good medical team, their manager takes control of matches, rotates his coaching staff, doesn't reward failure, doesn't buy shit never-will-bes, ships out crooks or under-performing players and wins trophies. Other than that, yeah, we're on a par with them.knee_jerk_reaction wrote:apart from the RVP, man for man they shouldnt be 20 points better than us. they play with width and pace more than we do, they also apear not to want to let there fans colleagues and manager down....they get a heck of a lot of cruical decisions as well
Compare the players, the defending, the overall coaching, the squad depth there certainly is 20 pts between us, could be more!

But once out on the pitch, when its 11v11, we shouldn't be so far behind. If we play more up-tempo And with width we should be at least challenging....I think a lot is to do with the opposition of Man U are always terrified and if they played high pressure and raised there game which all small shitty teams seem to do against us then Man U wouldn't be so dominantPerryashburtongroves wrote:And they don't sell their best players every year, they invest in the team, have a good medical team, their manager takes control of matches, rotates his coaching staff, doesn't reward failure, doesn't buy shit never-will-bes, ships out crooks or under-performing players and wins trophies. Your right mate but unfortunately we have thousands of supporters that hang on every word spoken by our imperious fucking leader and the cretins that keep paying him 7 million quid a year for abject failure!Supagoon wrote:gotta agree with perry.Perryashburtongroves wrote:And they don't sell their best players every year, they invest in the team, have a good medical team, their manager takes control of matches, rotates his coaching staff, doesn't reward failure, doesn't buy shit never-will-bes, ships out crooks or under-performing players and wins trophies. Have you watched us recently? We don't play high tempo at all. It's like having 11 Ray WIlkins on the pitch, we play like a bunch of strangers who have no clue what to do or where their team mates will be. We have a manager whose sole mantra seems to be "keep hold of the ball at all costs". He doesn't teach players how to make runs, to pull opposition players out of position. He can't change his tactics, shape or formation to suit the opposition. We have one game plan no matter who we play against, be it Bradford or Barcelona.knee_jerk_reaction wrote:But once out on the pitch, when its 11v11, we shouldn't be so far behind. Our players are not scared of our manager. They know if they lose they'll get told "oh well you tried your hardest" and off they go again to the Colney Creche for another week of japes in training. Utd's players know that if they fuck up their gonna get a fucking bollocking and probably boots thrown at them. We have a manager who'll gladly accept finishing second for the next 20 years, Utd have a manager who won't accept failure at all.

Agree with that mate, but then when we still have to also command how to put a cross into the box to beat the first defender, have players busting a gut to get on the end of a cross, and rely on it not being mister thrupenny bit.

Playing 1 and 1/2 up front at home don't help eitherTop Londoner wrote:knee_jerk_reaction wrote:But once out on the pitch, when its 11v11, we shouldn't be so far behind. Just been watching RVPs goal vs everton on youtube. That was ridiculous today's goal is even better.

He accepted failure and being shit for the first 4 years and was on the brink of being sacked, it the other way round for wenger...he win the double first full season, then another double then he wins the league easy and unbeaten, there no more challenge, let's try and win with a passing barca style he thinksdonaldo wrote:Ferguson will not accept failure unlike our clown of a manager. To Ferguson finishing 2nd is a disaster. To therunning our club 4th is a cause for celebration.

With Villa's negative goal difference, Wigan have all the incentive to get something from next weekend's game against toilet.

Re: other pl games this weekend
it's awful that we want United to wrap up the league tonight so they won't have to do it at the Grove...RVP has got tonnes of abuse here and elsewhere.but tonight who is correct him or us ? It was easy to call him names like Judas, to accuse him of greed and to wish injury on him. I was as guilty of that as anyone but tonight I don't feel very clever about it. We can talk til the end of the Summer window about money, but it is about success and to abuse Van Persie tonight would be pointless. I hope he doesn't play on Sunday to avoid the media highlighting the abuse he would be sure to get. I'm so pissed off with this (and too many previous )seasons.

Are you even forgiving him from stating he will always be a gooner, when asking for a move?
