Hleb has not won any major trophies!

Everybody knows that the club has won fuck all in 8 years and most people acknowledge that that is a huge failing for a club of our size etc. Everybody also knows that good players have had their heads turned by the fact that predecessors have flown the nest and experienced success elsewhere.
I'm not sure what creating a table, consisting mostly of players who left because they didn't make the grade (noticeably Eduardo, Hleb and Reyes all top 6) proves beyond what has been blindingly obvious for years?
truth here.
yes its true by staying at arsenal you won't win a thing, but you cannot include trophies won in the Ukraine and Croatia etc.
Trophies won in Spain, Italy should only count, and of course the European cup.

Yep. Or;Natural Born Gooner wrote:Another old favourite trotted out was the "Well if Wenger ever left Arsenal, all our top players would follow him out the club" line![]()

Nope, another myth blown apart.![]()
Hopefully all the shite ones we have now will leave when he does decide to bugger off
"If Wenger goes, we won't be able to keep attracting the top players."
WTF?
TOP PLAYERS??!!

Camel, Forehead, LegoHead, Song, Flappy, Mannone, Almunia, Bendtner, etc etc fucking etc....

Re: Players Who've Left Arsenal - Major Trophies Won
I used to think that was legitimate until everyone started leaving anyway.Natural Born Gooner wrote:Another old favourite trotted out was the "Well if Wenger ever left Arsenal, all our top players would follow him out the club" line![]()

Genuine question, with the clout that Wenger holds in world football (like it nor not) do people think that the quality of our signings would decline if he left? Yep, some of what he's signed has been utter toilet - no doubt about it, but could they get worse?

An example of why I do not subscribe to Sky TV. Their football coverage (especially Sky Sports News) offers nothing other than sensationalised "reporting" pretty much what I'd expect The Sun newspaper sports TV channel to be like if such a thing existed.

Arsenal have got to sell us one of their players!
If you want to win a league title in today’s football scene especially in England, all you need to do is call Arsene Wenger and buy his best player for the ending season.
So as Chelsea intends to climb back to the pinnacle of English soccer next season, it is pertinent to evaluate who Arsenal’s best player has been and then buy him.
Cesc Fabregas left for Barcelona to win the league, Samir Nasri left for Manchester City and subsequently won the league and we must not forget the latest – Robin Van Persie left at the beginning of this season and on Tuesday became the winner of his first ever league title. And we must not forget Alex Song; though he has been a bit part player in the Barcelona team, at the end of this season, all things been equal, he will be a proud winner of the La Liga title.
So the theory is well established and so Chelsea having the intention of becoming the next league champion in England has a formula to proceed – get a player from the Emirates!

An exodus of quality players is unlikely this close season, because we simply don't have any. I include Wilshire in this and believe he is becoming the most over hyped player in the premier league, yes even more than fucking monkey boy, who has actually shown consistent good match winning form for the past 2 seasons.
I was watching Sunday Supplement this weekend, and honestly, they were talking about Wilshire as if he were Marafuckingdona, based on a friendly against a pish Brazilian side.
I also noticed that Gareth Crooks had him in his team of the week
he only played 19 fucking minutes and quite frankly did fuck all. It's almost like it's compulsory to wax lyrical about him no matter how he plays.
Wilshire is a decent midfielder with a big heart, nothing more, and were he not English then no one would even notice him.

To think - they can soon add Alex Song to that list.

Meh, I saw an article similar to this a few months back and it even included Anthony Stokes with his Scottish titles and Scottish Cups...ridiculous, anything to put us down.

This is the new 'Red Cards for Arsenal under Wenger' story only it's less funny and more depressing.
