Arsenal v Manure

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't think anyone's suggesting not giving Manure a Guard of honour, but I do find it a bit rich when Wenker's telling us to respect the Judas. He didn't show us any fucking respect when he pissed off to Manchester!

Doesn't sit well when the man complicit in van Judas mugging the fans off is telling us not to harbour any bitterness. Although saying that he's hardly the first manager to call for respect/calm when his words are never going to be heeded.

I don't think there is any chance it will be heeded....... it's a sad day when once again the club proves just how out of touch with its own fans it has become.... :(

Wenger has lost sight of the meaning of respect.
We put him on a pedestal, and the :censored: thinks that he will reign supreme forever.
The past TEN years will tell the story.
From humble beginnings, through success and then denial, this bloke has lived -for quite a while - blinded by his own belief of grandeur

I would hope the players and the crowd give them a nice round of applause and then stuff them on the park.
I cringe at the thought of our moronic fans singing "she said no " to RVP when he isnt the man to blame for his
being at MUFC.

That would be my course of action too - I am all for sportsmanship in the game, and it is something I am trying to instill in my kids, but I have to admit that in this case I would be totally hypocritical and turn my back on those smug b**tards

The thing is IF Jack and Jenko are playing they do not deserve to have Gooners turn their backs to them....(And yes, I know that's not the real reason and intent), but imagine if you were a player who truly cared and gave their all every game, and then the fans turn their back on the team of which you are a player.

Something NEEDS to be done, but what!?.....This (situation with AW & The Board) has gone on far too long, and major protests should have been done long ago...but no we all sat back...(made the occasional banner) - which rarely got an outing - we phoned the various footie radio shows to voice our anger and frustrations - But nothing more, so we are to an extent complicit in where we find ourselves.

If anything, perhaps the Back Turning should be done at our last home game against Wigan - when AW and co come out after the game to parade the virtual trophy for fifth/fourth whatever...a couple of thousand people turning their back in silence - might say more than all the booing.....and although it wouldn't be fair on the few exceptions in our team...maybe they would understand...and more worrying is IF they do (understand why it is being done) then perhaps they too see the abject failure of wenker & co, and so it isn't too long before they too head off to another Prem team....
