CL Semi's

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Obviously Klopp would be a light years improvement on the turnip (who wouldn't FFS) but maybe he's not quite the messiah the press seem to be making him out to be. Don't forget the goal that got them into the semi in the first place was about 5 yards offside. Tiny measures.
It is a different competition. If we both go to Wembley we will rip their asses of like the 5:2 in Berlin for the cup final and €ötze will score 3 goals, mark my words
Hope your lads win it mate - would be nice to have one member of the forum celebrate a trophy!! :barscarf:

Have to say I’m delighted it’s gone a bit tits up for both The Whores and Dive-aldo’s lot. I’m so sick to my hairy hole with the press love-in with the Spanish league. I’ve watched a good few games on Sky over the last couple seasons and tbh, bar the odd cracker of a game, it’s nowhere near as good as the media make it out to be. It’s basically the Scottish league with a few more tricks and flicks.

Hope it’s an all-German final and hope Dortmund win it. 8)

German football fans are the best. Two trips there this season - Schalke and Munich - and some of the best experiences in my time of going to games. And I know a lot on here who went to Dortmund (last season?) would say that was the best of the lot.

Very tempted to go to London on Friday night and join in with the craic. If I had a ticket though I think I'd be more inclined to sell it (at face value) to one of the Dortmund guys. Big finals are never quite the same for a neutral. And big finals are never quite the same at Wembley where a huge % of the crowd will be corporate.

I for one will be absolutely delighted to have an all German final. It would sicken Uefa, but more importantly the occasion would be all the better if Munchen and Dortmund made it. The atmosphere would be truly fantastic. Was lucky enough to go to the Werder Bremen Schalke game on 06 April. Got a ticket for the Ostcurve - safe standing area. Great experience, the Krombacher was rather excellent as well. Went to the Mercedes Benz arena in Stuttgart last season - evbery bit as good. German football, pure class.

I went too the World 2006 semi final Germany V Italy at Dortmund. Brilliant! the result was the only downer.

Very pleased for Dotmund as I think that they have played some of the best attacking football I have seen since our Bergkamp / Henry / Pires days....

Just shows that you do not have to roll over and have your tummy tickled by the Spanish giants if you have the right players and tactics.

If was in the Westfalenstadion for that game, the 1:0 from Grosso was the goal which trashed me the most, I was watching it from the south stand just behind that goal...
