After the game the Sky interviewer asked Vieira if he was staying and Paddy refused to answer saying he wanted to enjoy the night. That was taken as him announcing his departure and it was all SSN concentrated on the following morning.

It should have felt wrong but I was still pretty f**ked off at them stopoing us from getting 3rd double in a decade by kicking us out of the FA cup in the Invincibles season. Can't remember who the ref was but the amount of fouling they got away with in that game was disgraceful. It was probably old mother Riley.
The pizzagate game ruined our season so picking up the FA cup whilst whiskey nose got sweet FA felt pretty f**king good. They may have had the last word eventually but with the absence of prescience at the time,it felt sooooo good.

I recall us hitting the bar and as the ball dropped with the keeper on the ground, two of our players got in each others way and a weak header was gratefully clutched by the keeper (wasn't Schmeical bit can't remember who)

our best player was vanHorseface, he missed dozens of open goals, one of the luckiest results ever.

Great night, will never ever be beaten in my opinion ; was a bit too young to appreciate Anfield '89, so this was my version.

I drove to the match, parked in one of those unofficial match day car parks, and got back to my motor (very late)to find 'MUFC' scratched into the passenger side door, and two tyres let down.

It didn't affect my mood, I floated all the way home.....
