QPR GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I see old ToastedCheeseSandwichFaceTwitchyCunt is now blaming the fact some players are paid more than others at QPR for them getting relegated and making his job more difficult. What a crock of fucking shit from an absolute arsehole.

It's always someone's else's fault when it goes pear-shaped isn't it, Twitchy? But that time you won the one proper trophy in your shit career, you did that all by yourself didn't you? Fucking twat.

We'll beat them 4-0 and Arsene can then talk about how much mental strength we have shozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Redknapp also said that he simply had no time to build:

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news ... top-flight

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp claims he faced an uphill struggle to keep the club in the Premier League because he did not have a chance to build his own team.

"If you had the job at the start of the year it would have been different because you build your team and that is your team," Redknapp said.

"You shouldn't be running around in the transfer window trying to patch a team up, it is very difficult then. I spent days and days away from home all over Europe trying to plug some holes.

"You build your team in the summer. That is when you build a team, do your training and get together. The club went 13 games without winning a game and that is quite a bad start by anyone's standards."

...so why did he take the job in the first place if he never stood a chance? And why, with 28 games to go, did he say in a press conference that QPR would "definitely stay up"? Nasty piece of work, but as usual, the media are lapping up his spin and treating it as fact.

A piss easy victory against a shit, unorganised and unmotivated shower of w***ers - they will be fully aware that old tax dodger will already be plotting his exit (after putting another club in a financial mess  ) and won't be as red one way or another. There will be a few agents working hard this week trying to get their players out of there - the only players that will be ok at staying will be the likes of hill and derry who were not good enough for this division anyway

Piss off to the Championship, and take your £53 restricted view away end tickets with you.

Hope you never come back.

Good area for a pre match drink up, though.

Rosicky should start. He's our best player in midfield right now. Wilshere in. Ramsey dropped to the bench.
Podolski just can't play in CF position, I dont know why, maybe it's a lack of coaching.

Redknapp should have kept that squad of players up. Especially when you look at the money he's thrown at Remy and Samba in Jan. It didn't need 'Arry 'Oudini, just a sensible manager able to keep players' egos in check and make a few astute signings with the money available in January and they'd have stayed up fairly comfortably.

Unfortunately for QPR he was more concerned with making friends in the media than doing his job. I don't doubt the truth of it but the first thing he did was take a swipe at his playing squad (singling out Bosingwa) - what the fuck was that meant to achieve? His ego is bigger than any of his players!

And then after slagging off the previous regime he did exactly the same. Continued to rely heavily on that lazy bastard Taarabt and instead of signing good players that the club needed to strengthen and keep them up he blew £20m+ ridiculous wages on two of the biggest money-grabbers in football at the moment.

Should be a straight forward win, Wigan after that I'm not so sure about, I really do think we need the spuds to fuck up again as well as losing to the chavs.

Safe thing is renters to beat scum. If scum wins all the games, we will be in trouble. We will be playing Wigan mid week after their FA cup final. They have 2 more league games to get the result before the final. Our game will be 4th game in 10days for them. They will be in pretty bad shape by the time we play them at home.

I reckon 7 points will do it - Spurs are likely to drop at least 3 points in their last 4 games and even if they don't Chelsea could quite conceivably drop 6 (obviously having not got a win against Spurs in those circumstances and having to go to United and Villa and play Everton).

What we don't want is Chelsea to win at United and then have the pressure off when it comes to playing Spurs.

should be a piece of piss on paper but maybe just maybe Harry might do Spuds a massive favour here and pull off a win,oh the irony!! a relegated qpr will hopefully not give a toss so should let us walk it,or will a relaxed qpr flow better, who knows, wouldnt like to call this.its my big 4O on sunday, they better give me a decent birthday pressie :?

We need to be clever and patient in this one. QPR might well play with some freedom and look a bit handy in the first half, it's up to us to see that off and make sure we play the second half with a high tempo. They might fancy playing for an hour, I doubt they'd have much stomach for the full 90.
