Champions League and Europa Cup Games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Dan, that's similar to the logic used in 1967 by Scotland when they beat England at Wembley.

They declared themselves to be 'world champions'.

Alex Mong playing in the sake midfield as Xavi and Iniesta?? It's enough to make your head explode.

Song running around the midfield with fuck all positional sense. Where have we seen that before?

Yep. Just heard it now after he gave the ball away.

Needs to get the fuck out of there.

On 78 minutes, Pique is booked and misses the next match.

Cue some classic trolling by Martin Tyler: "the next match (he misses) isn't going to be the CL final, I can pretty much guarantee you that".

Barca would need 8 goals in the final 12 minutes to progress. I don't think he meant it to sound snarky, but there was a very understated glee to his tone upon delivering that line. It made me LOL. It so totally didn't need to be said because it was so obvious, so seemed like he was taking pleasure in rubbing it in.
