QPR was the banana skin, this will be the stroll in the park, he shoots, he scores type of game.

We have an average squad with no big name players now, so not their fault, blame Wenger for our downfall not the average Joe players he now buys.

I can understand turning your back on Wenger but the players? why?

Considering how average this squad is, where did you expect us to finish? and how many points did you expect us to accumulate? - surely 70pts+ is no reason to turn your back on them?

Yes, let's all clap and cheer the likes Giroud, Gervinho, Wally Walcott, Sagna (who has downed tools), Diaby, to name but a few of the useless wankers that we have had to endure this season... also, why we're at it, the big nosed useless *word censored*, Mannone, they all deserve the greatest of ovations...

Yeah, because that's the only options... turn your back on them or give them the greatest of ovations

They may not deserve a hero's ovation but turning your back in disgust is a little OTT isn't it?

They're average players who were bought and put in the team by Wenger. It's not their fault they're not better footballers. :?

They're not the only options are they? .. surely you've heard of the rancid fruit and the monkey poop throwing? I'd rather that with the addition of booing to gayly turning one's back on the bunch of gutless bastards...

Just out of interest, where did you expect a squad of our limited quality to finish in the league? - is 70+pts really underachieving to the extent that they deserve the reaction you're suggesting? :?

I get the vitriol aimed at the manager and board because it's their job to ensure we have a competitive team, but having failed that, I'm not quite convinced the players deserve the reaction you and others are suggesting. :? - yeah, some deserve stick, but not all...

It's only due to the dramatic dip in quality of this league that we're still within touching distance of the holy grail that is the Champions League, in other seasons, with this cow pat of a squad, I reckon we'd be around 7th and I was hoping that would be the case as I hate the CL with a passion, hate Wenger with a passion and finishing 7th may, just may have seen this fraud off. So, if I'm at the game against Wigan, I will be hurling abuse, not only at Wenger, but yes, also at THIS GUTLESS BUNCH OF LOSERS that he's assembled.

I find this line quite laughable g88ner......

The team that started and went on to lose to the mighty Bradford consisted of ten players who have been capped at full international level, in addition they have amassed 416 caps between them. That I will argue makes them a little better than limited quality. But I will agree they play like players of limited quality quite often though.

Interesting. I genuinely believe the overall quality of the 20 teams is stronger now than it was in 1997/98 when we won the league with 78pts...

Quality is obviously relative and as we're discussing league position, I obviously mean we have limited quality compared to the teams above us.

I couldn't care less about how many international caps they have, but if you insist on going down that route, then surely the teams above us (chavs, citeh and manure) also have plenty of international caps, so I stand by my point... I genuinely believe we have less quality than the teams above us. If you disagree, fair enough.

Exactly. Nothing stupider than a fan of a struggling or lower-league club telling us that they'd be delighted with 4th every year and therefore so should we.

They won't fucking date do a lap of dishonour if we fuck up our top 4 spot. I'll be straight into the pub at the final whistle thinking myself lucky I don't have a season ticket.

I won't be jumping on the we'll-fuck-this-up-just-coz bandwagon.
I think we'll win 3-1.

We will win this easy - Wigan will get trounced at wembley on Saturday and be demoralised when they come to us (esp if they don't beat Swansea tomoro night) and will collapse after conceding an early goal or two.

Can I also just say it again......I hope Wigan stay up 8)
