As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I see young Chesney has also inherited his manager's "intelligence". When will someone tell the pair of them that a Spurs win on Wednesday means that they only need beat holiday bound Gooner-haters Stoke, and a probably safe by then Sunderland (after they beat Stoke tonight). The Chavs will then have to see off Villa and Everton.
Wake up you dozy pair of *word censored*.....if Spurs win on Weds (and btw Chelsea were fucking shit yesterday) then winning our next two games doesn't matter you mouthy prick
If Chensey and Wenger are saying this same thing, then there must be others within the club that think the same too.... this is very worrying, it just makes me despise Wenger and his shit squad even more, a bunch of overpaid, flash, useless gob shytes who should be doing their talking on the pitch!
amazed at people hating on Szczezza for slating Sperz - why can't he speak his mind?
people here moan about poor PR from Ivan, repetitive phraseology from Wenger
then go mad at some low level goalie banter.
Whatever Woj says I'm sure Sperz will try their best in their remaining games

I don't think it's hating on him JD.... but you would have to admit he has a bad habit of saying the wrong things at the wrong time. The scum have looked pretty flat of late and it seems a bit fucking daft to give them the incentive to buck up their ideas. It also makes him and the club look a tad stupid when he claims......
1)
"If we win our next two games it will be enough as either Chelsea or Spurs will drop points as they play each other,"
. Perhaps he should get his facts right before opening his trap.
2)
Tottenham "do not have enough quality" in the race to qualify for the Champions League
. No but they do have arguably the best premier league player this season in their squad.
No hating from me... I just wish he'd let his goalkeeping do the talking instead of his rather large and loose mouth!
Larging it before the event when u can end up with egg on your face is as stupid as it gets ,if Arsenal are publishing it on their own website they are showing their total lack of class .............again !
Having said that the quote "And Tottenham do not have enough quality, so there you go" isn't on Arsenal player so,either they've added that in there from a previous quote ,or its been edited out sharpish !
I hope its a malicious extra added as we used to say nowt ,now we are gobshites ,it's not on and it isnt Arsenal !

AVB on Szczesny: 'It would be a little more tolerable coming from a genuine Arsenal fan, not a player only passing through to another club'
Of all the responses he could come up, that is just plain stupid. He could ignore it, point out Szczesny should worry more about his form or that it will either have no effect or will serve to galvanize his players. Instead he makes a comment that also makes him look an idiot given Szczesny's been on our books since 2006.

If the old saying "two wrongs don't make a right" is true, then it is also now apparent that two mongs don't make a right!

Have to say as much as Chesney's comments won't have done him (and us) any favors, AVB's response is even more stupid and actually makes me believe Chesney's comments must have proper riled the scum up.

Spoke to a mate who supports Spurs (he's okay I swear! ) and he agreed AVB's comments were needless and stupid given the idiocy of the original comments.
Were gonna nick 4th spot on goal difference I reckon. It will be hailed by Clouseau as his greatest triumph since the invincibles, nicking top four at the death on the last day but coming from even further behind than last season. And our little good run of form lately and the Bayern away result at the end of the season will be pitched as proof positive that we are on the verge of big things. And Clouseau will sign fuck all in the off season as usual and for sure he will be offered a new contract....

Sadly, and depressingly, this is more or less what will happen.
can't see Sperz doing anything but beating the Mackems - they're missing Fletcher, Gardner, Bramble and Sessegnon, most of their best players (apart from Johnson and Mignolet)
so GD is unlikely: only happens with us losing one and winning one, with a Sperz draw. Or drawing two with a Sperz defeat
interestingly there's now no difference for us between a draw and a defeat
