As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Is it a case of the moderators changing whatever has been written by others whenever they get the whim? Nice.
As for the subject matter. Good first year from Giroud. Plenty of goals and assists. Not his fault he is not RVP.
And getting back to the original point made I can promise you Giroud has been much better than Alan Smith was in his first year with us. His first year was shocking, his all round play was terrible.
Gus,
Giroud has been shite get fucking over it.
By the way, hats off to whoever came up with 'le Chapman' for Giroud. The work of a genius!
I changed the title. If you look back about 5-10 pages (cba myself), there was a concensus that it was unfair to smudger to compare him, and anyway the thread had just become a "Giroud is not good enough", one!
As for Le Chapman I think SteveO was the originator of that one.
maybe I'm just biased against Brummies
but his misery guts voice sounds to me absolutely GUTTED on the rare occasion something goes for us
Spud and Chelski mates of mine (oh the shame) have also asked why Smudge doesn't like us
I think anything that comes out in that accent is going to sound fucking miserable.
I would say and I'm sure many on here would agree that he is just being accused of irrational hatred or bitterness because he's willing to give Arsenal some real stick, the vast majority of which is deserved. I think he's a fucking shit pundit and the bloke has to be one of the most boring guys on TV but I don't think he hates us for whatever reason.
In reality your view on the subject is just likely to mirror your view on Wenger.

prob true (confirmation bias + antiBrumism)
think Smudge was pretty bitter over how his career finished at Arsenal
I heard it was not handled well by the club

surprised others haven't noticed TBH, I thought it was obvious,
that could just be anti-Brum prejudice and confirmation bias at work...
In fairness, you're not the first to comment on Smudger (I'm sure it's been discussed on here plenty of times in the past?)
Never noticed it myself though. I like Smith, but then again he's the spitting image of my bother, so perhaps there's confirmation bias at work there as well
