Roladhino going to Spurs?

Roladhino going to Spurs?

Post by Flaminal Planet »

Amidst all the rumours of a Roladinho exit this summer did anyone see The Sun linking him with a possible move to Spurs!??

Quite a funny article as in the column inches next to it they print “he (Capello) already appears to be losing touch with realityâ€

must be a quiet day on the news front. so people think ronaldinho is likely to join a club that plays in the champions league as often as haley's comet graces the skies of the earth? if i had time i'd have a good chuckle and go on the spurs messageboards and see them creaming themselves at the propsect.

anyone who has time to do that, copy and paste the best offerings here

haha...I must admit I did find this story a little far fetched!

but then again (playing devil's advocate here)...maybe Ronaldinho would be the Spurs equivalent of Arsenal signing Bergkamp?

They clearly have the funds to pull off such a deal (I read yesterday that Darren Bent earns more than ANY Arsenal player) and they certainly seem to have the ambition.

Eventaully Spurs WILL get it right. That's what really worries me. They seem to have a quality manager now, and If they keep investing £40odd million every summer, then surely, they will get it right sooner or later?!

Surely this will disappoint the other Galacticos. Ramos should be careful, he has enough "big" players. Although, Huddlestone and Ronaldinho would make a nice partnership... in the buffet

Seriously though, can't The Sun afford a calendar? 1st April is supposed to be on Tuesday, not today   8)

It's true and it's going to happen.

Spurs will sign Frank Ronaldiniho from Barnet.

He doesn't have the skills, but he's an ugly *word censored* with big teeth so that's close enough for Spurs fans to get excited about.

Am not at all bothered by Ronaldinho going to Spurs if it does happen.

He is slowing down, and would not get the time on the ball that he does in Spain.

He would not be fast enough for our style of play.

Pace is not everything, and he woudl still score the odd briallian goal.

But overall, can you imagine him tracking back to mark Ronaldo?

No. Not at all.

Let them have him.
