Fergie to retire

Post by QuartzGooner »

No, not this Fergie.....

Image

And not this one either....

Image

Sorry, it's not her....

Image

Neither is it him....

Image

Or him.....

Image

Nope, not him...

Image

Or even him....

Image

Or this thing....

Image

And certainly not him, though close....

Image

Neither is it this offaly pinstriped chap

Image

SO WHO IS IT?

IT'S HIGH TIME TO REVEAL THE ANSWER.......

Image

Image

Image

If he is going, it's of his own accord, he has not been given the boot...
(unlike certain chargecards I could mention....)

Image

Perhaps he will have a retirement meal at Pizza Hut?

Image

Or settle for a quiet drink?

Or two?

Image

We can say "It's been emotional"

Image

And the double act would be broken up

Image

Looks like it's good night from him, and how we wish it would be good night from him too!

Although in all seriousness this is hardly the first time the Ferguson retirement rumours have been circulating. I think he still feels he has unfinished business in Europe after getting dicked by Barca twice in the CL final, especially after what he said about the 2009 defeat.

He loves it too much, they'll have to carry him out of there in a box.

EDIT: Seems these rumours may have some credence. I reserve the right to completely edit my previous views to save face if necessary

Love or loathe him, the best manager in British football history, knowing when to go, going out on a high and leaving the club on a strong footing for his successor.
Unlike Wenger, managerial has been, previous successes soured by subsequent failures and incompetence, over staying his welcome by at least 6 years, will eventually leave with the team in a worse state than he found it.

Well he's 70 and having a hip operation.

Hey how about he is hired by Arsenal as a part-time consultant to advise the clueless American twats that have hijacked us on what the fuck is wrong with the Arse, apart from the bleedin obvious that is, ie, greedy money-loving plastic x-box yankee owners and old Etonian boys-club pompous old farts Board, and arrogant, washed-up, high-horsed effete, I repeat, EFFETE, manager - and what are the shit players should be ejected into deep space (ie, about half of them).

Tell Wenger to fuck off and hire Fergie as our personal consultant for 7 million haha. I love it.

^ This.

It is a real shame that Arsene has shit all over his own legacy. :(

I still hate Ferguson; he's a whining, lying, bitter, small-minded hypocrite. But he is by a long long shot the greatest ever football manager anywhere ever. There is just no denying that. Sustained success, winning everyfuckingthing, for a quarter of a century? A real one-off. The prick.

I honestly couldn't give a flying fuck about Wenger's personal legacy. Clouseau has become a multi-millionaire many times over at the expense of us poor, long-suffering fans year after year putting up with his lies and mirages and mediocrity for FUCK ALL since the invincibles. I completely and utterly hope Clouseau leaves this Club looking like the fucking joke and clown that he has allowed himself to become, a pathetic caricature of what he used to be, all for the sake of worshipping :bowing21: the almighty $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ like that wax-work, soulless prick Kroenke and the other yankee fat cats that have kidnapped our club. They can all f-off with their tail between their legs the lot of them frankly. Bring on Usmanov.

Yeah. Cool. Personally, I do think it's a shame. He is our greatest, most successful manager. And if any arsehole comes on here now with some retarded stats work-up about "if you take into consideration the 8 trophyless years when compared to blah blah blah" they can go and fuck their own arsehole.

Unfortunately, he will now be remembered just as much for his ridiculous side line antics (particularly by the wanky media) and his stubborn ego-driven downward spiral. That is a shame.

United don't feel like rivals any more so I've lost that bitter, twisted joy I thought I'd feel when he retired :? - what's worse is that I respect what Fergie has achieved and wish him well in his retirement :o

Total respect for the man and what he has achieved, made changes when he needed to, had good coaches around him and is always adapting to the changes in the world game ,which we do not do . \
Above all he had a win at all costs mentality which all winners have,a decent size cheque book doesn't harm you either .

I think however for any New manager to succeed they will not want him hovering around as a director and ambassador like Busby did before him and interfere with the managers role .
