I voted not sure.

There's obviously something missing with him. He's never quite achieved what he should have.

He is a very talented footballer but just has never stamped his authority on the league or champs league the way past truly world class players have.

Maybe he isn't world class....but he's still better than all of what we have up front when he's on form.

My worry is that sounds like Rooney needs a firm hand and he's quite head strong and probably easily distracted,led astray. With AW's express yourself approach it's worked with most of our players because AW delibrately buys mild mannered players.

Rooney doesn't fit that mould and it could all go very pair shaped.

In 26yrs, Whiskeynose has only let one player go that wasn't on the decline and that was Ronaldo.

If he's cheap then maybe worth a gamble but he isn't so a very big and expensive gamble
