Buy back Cesc Fabregas, or let Man Utd buy him?

How would you fit Cazorla, Fabregas and Wilshire in the same lineup?
By playing them in their best positions.
Wilshere and Fabregas deep midfield, Cazorla number 10.

Any injuries/suspensions use Arteta, Coquelin, Rosicky, Ramsey, Yennaris, Eisfeld, Gervinho.

Wide midfield rotate Theo, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Podolski, Rosicky, Gnabry, Gervinho.

fabregas 10 times out of 10.

Jenkinson - Mert - Kos - Gibbs
------------NEW DM-------------
-------Fabregas----Wilshire----
--------------Cazorla-------------
---Wally/Ox------New Striker--

That should be our team. It's really not asking for much...but maybe I'll keep dreaming.

Or even just have Fabregas and Wilshire sit deeper and share defensive responsibilities and let Cazorla float ahead of them...you wouldnt even need to buy a new DM, even though I would like one.

Fabregas and Wilshire both play better sitting deeper for me. Both have a knack for tackling and beautiful long balls.

He won't go this summer and Man Utd will buy someone different, so we won't buy him and won't need to.

Although I'd have him back in a pinch.

Not sure about the credibility of the whole where would he fit in argument? Imo he is way better than any of our players now, Cazorla and a fit Wilshere included.

And aside from improving our results it would be bloody brilliant if we started playing some beautiful football again.

Even with Cescs undoubted talent we would still need better wingers and forwards to play beautiful football again imo.

Yeah probably agree with that to be honest. Although we have played some very good football although in very brief patches this year, without the attacking players we're never going to produce it regularly.

Cesc was the player our club could have been built around as he became a true Arsenal legend. Instead the circumstances in which he decided to see his last season out with us left a sour taste behind him.

He left the club for his own reasons, we've acheived nothing since then so I cannot imagine why he would want to return.

It must be a real hard choice for him, join the premier champions with the likelihood of even more trophies or join us, a bunch of perennial losers with the biggest one being our manager... Hmmm...

Agree 100% with this - cazorla is a really good player but let's be honest here, he isn't anywhere near the same level as Cesc. In fact I would go so far as to allow cazorla to join barca as part of the deal if it meant Cesc coming back to us again 8) I will actually go further than that and say that if I was manager I would want to revert to a 4-4-2 system with Cesc alongside a big physical DM in the middle of the park and I know that by doing that wilshere would not be a starter
