NEWCASTLE AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yep, from the PL rulebook;
Play-offs

C.14. If at the end of the Season either the League Champions or the Clubs to be relegated or the question of qualification for other competitions cannot be determined because 2 or more Clubs are equal on points, goal difference and goals scored, the Clubs concerned shall play off one or more deciding League Matches on neutral grounds, the format, timing and venue of which shall be determined by the Board.

Don't be silly JD that's to close, this is the FA we are talking about. With two London clubs involved you can bet your bottom dollar it would be on a Sunday evening at old shatford....... nailed on!

Yep, you're probably right.
Would still love it to happen. A play-off to avoid playing a play-off.

I'm pretty sure AW will play Jack if Mikel isn't fit. Am I crazy for thinking that we'd be better served playing Le Coq instead?

Don't worry lads, you'll finish above Spurs because we're going to repay you for last night by battering them at the Lane. Just Chelsea to finish ahead of if you're wanting automatic CL qualification :wink:

It could be the Millenium Stadium as I think they still have a good relationship after so many matches were moved there.
