TH replacement the stats...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

TH replacement the stats...

Post by Chopper »

I am so bored tonight! It's either trawl the internet for stats on those that we are linked with or watch a chickflick so please forgive this geeky post.

2006/7 2005/6 2004/5

Anelka 35/11 BW 25/10Fen 14/4Fen
Babel 27/5 25/2 20/7
Berbatov 33/12 TH 34/21BL 33/20BL
Eto'o ?/11 33/25 36/24
Forlan 34/19 31/10 38/25
Huntelaar 32/21 15/16 15/17
Martins 33/11NU 28/8IM 30/11IM
Owen 3/0NU 11/7NU 36/13RM
Tevez 26/7WH 8/4Cor 29/21Cor
Torres 36/14 36/13 38/16

Obviously stats don't tell the full story but it does give some insite into each of them.

On another note found out Babels middle name is Gooner, well Guno but I reckon thats just the dutch translation.

For me Berbatov, Eto'o, Huntelaar have the best ratios but then anyone of the list should be able to score in a team that creates as many chances as us.

I'd probably have any of them except Martins if Arsene thinks their the one.

The longer I look at the those names and stats the more I despair. I feel that there is a real lack of genuine footballing talent avaiable.

But Arsene Knows, as always. And I'm jus glad that there are no young, scouse striking prospects available!

What do you mean not available.

We could get him from Blackburn for less than £1m, giving us the perfect TH replacement and £15m in the bank! Maybe the press are barking up the wrong tree when they heard Arsene is after one of his former strikers...

Jeffers 2006/7 = 10 games 4 goals

better ratio than le sulk!

TEVEZ

Post by Drone »

TEVEZ is a best replacement for Henry, but Bendtner can score as well, so with the team that can provide so mutch balls think that bendtner is right player because he is not a manekin when is anout goals as i seen him he just scores and dont give damn if it is good looking one or not. And Tevez is da same. The rest only Eto'o but he is not awailable, dont dream with open eyes.
