Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
In summers where we have to get through the qualifying rounds, we have usually bought one fairly big signing early on, then waited to see if we will get to the group stages. It means a late summer rush for signings, which gives the agents all the negotiating advantages.

Oh, yes, silly me. What was I thinking. You'd think I would know how it works by now. It must have been the heady rush of the virtual trophy that got to me.

I would keep him until his contract expires. I doubt we will get much money for him. What 2m at best? Keep him as a back up and let Jenko go on loan.markyp wrote:Sagna was shite again today,he plays with legs made of lead these days,he cant cross either,to lose him aint no loss imho, his heart aint in it any moreLizLeGooner wrote:Any rumoured RB replacements?

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
He's going. His heart hasn't been in it for months and he's been like a completely different player. He has zero confidence - he backs off players and lets them get crosses in too easily because he's terrified of getting skinned, and whenever anybody closes him down he won't try and beat them or even make a yard to get a ball in. He'll just check back and play a simple pass or cross the ball straight at the man's legs. Keeping him for another season like the second half of this one isn't in anyone's interests.

I think that Jenks would do better to stay and learn his trade with us.
If we can afford to keep Gibbs throughout his injuries then, surely we can see the sense in keeping Jenks.
I'd prefer it if we let Sagna go and signed a replacement, but then again I thought that Luke Shaw was a better option than Nacho.
Remember, we are supposed to have two world class players in each position.

To an extent I agree - he has had a v poor season by his previous high standards.
But if you think his heart ain't in it - check out Walcott's goal v Wigan to put us 2-1 up, Sanga was pumped, full of celebration and don't think he was faking it.
He may well be in shit form, but I still think he cares.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
When our imperious leader comes out with this my heart sinks....
Just fuck off, fuck off now!
More from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: "We want to have additions to the squad [over the summer] but keep first the structure and spirit of the team we have now. But, let's not forget, there are many clubs who have big money and there's maybe not enough talent to strengthen all the teams who have money."

Just fuck off, fuck off now!

What's the point of qualifying for this cunting competition ? I know finishing above the scum is always important but after that what is the point ? People used to say that we should ignore what wenger says and pay attention to what he does but in the last few seasons words and actions have been the same especially when he makes comments like those listed above

Let's see. Next season buy shitty players, fight and struggle for CL spot again, win fuck all and usual bullshit comments for the dictator and players. It feels so great to support arsenal
