Emirates Cup 2013/Galatasary and Trouble at Overseas Games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I go..........with my mates and their Dads.for the football? No way - we dont even watch the first game.

We go to have a few beers (in the sun hopefully) have a laugh together, sit together and go and have more beers after.

As a 29 year old, i never experienced football like that, so its a good chance to go as a group, sit together, have alaugh and not be stressed about the game.

Is it a money-spinning exercise? Yes...but why NOT do it? Whats the downside? Nobody is forced to go.

Who gives a sh*t about, a friendly game, or even a CL group game. We will come and watch. Nothing will happen unless people are attacked or provoked.

Yep, bang on there Kev.

These wankers' definition of "provoked" is something to look at. The Gala scum we met must have felt "provoked" by the fact we were wearing Arsenal jerseys and that's why they were attacking us, that's why one group of cuntbags were showing us the knives they were going to stab us with. Christ, maybe we sang an Arsenal song, so yeah, we probably "provoked" them. Utter fucking scum.

I cannot understand why Eng1n33r posted on here?
Unless, of course, it was just to issue a thinly veiled threat. :rubchin:

Having discovered how difficult it is to get hold of a couple of tickets for league games at the Emirates, the Emirates Cup, for all it’s faults, at least gives me a chance of getting my 13 year old Arsenal fanatic son over to his first ever game (or 2). Would much prefer to get to a league game, but might just have to settle for this.

There have been quite a few tickets available for a lot of league games this season, you can probably get a loan off of a few on here.....actually most on here

Cheers LflG, only a newcomer on here and still trying to suss out how to go about geting tickets. The AFC Box Office could only suggest taking out 2 memberships which is a bit of a luxury when you might only get over once a season on top of the price of the tickets, flights and most probably an overnight stay too.
