A 3-2 aggregate win over Pacos de Ferreira would surely eclipse Red Member's magical "one night in Udine" glory moment

its not seeded v unseeded, its the top 5 coefficients play the bottom 5.

all scenarios have been covered and as said previous by others the slippery slope is Zenit /Fenerbache but Zenit only in bottom 5 seeds if lyon ( v likely ) and valencia qualify - if R Sociedad pip Valencia for 4th then Zenit will move into top 5 seeds and we avoid them

The 5 teams with the highest coefficients who make it to our Play-Off round (whether they go straight in or come through the earlier rounds) go into the "seeded" pot, the 5 teams with the lowest co-efficients are unseeded. As you say, the seeded or unseeded teams can change a bit if for example, an "underdog" makes it through from the earlier rounds.

It's just basically an easier way of saying "oh we can draw any team with a coefficient of less than 70.766"

Need to avoid Zenit at all costs.

Rest seem easily doable.

Hmmm, not strictly true. For example, the playoffs in Greece for the final CL place are still ongoing & PAS Giannina lead the way, not PAOK. Plus they enter in the round before us, would be unseeded and in all likelihood would be knocked out. If this guy who's compiled this list reckons we can draw Nordsjaelland, why not also mention that we could draw Zulte Waregem? Both enter in the round before us, and again, are unseeded & will most likely be knocked out.

Could still change a little but realistically it's either Zenit, PSV, Metalist, Fenerbahce or Pacos de Ferreira.

Technically Pacos de Ferreira are most likely at this stage as they are definitely in the play-off round and definitely unseeded - 20% chance. Hopefully Sociedad will hold off Valencia in La Liga (although I think they have Madrid this weekend) which would then mean Zenit would be seeded if they made the play-off round.

Metalist are definitely in & definitely unseeded too - those are the only two definite possibilites so far. Zenit, PSV & Fenerbahce are all likely but as has been said, there could be some re-jigging of the seedings depending on other outcomes.

Na Kharkiv go into 3rd qualifying round mate (although they're definitely seeded there). Teams from England, Spain, Germany, Portugal and Italy are the 5 straight into the play-off.

This is even more irrelevant than already talking about the playoff, but Pot 3 of the Group Stage could arguably be better than Pot 1. It's possible that PSG, Juve, Man City, Zenit, Ajax, Dortmund, and Galatasaray will all be in it.

Sociedad could only get a point at home against Real, they really should have won it and only equalised in the 93rd min of 3mins added on. With Valencia winning 1-0 against Granada the Spanish VT aka 4th goes to the final day with Sociedad just 2pts off Valencia.

Both teams are away on the final day Valencia to Sevilla who are midtable so game's meaningless for them, whilst Sociedad are slightly f**ked by playing relegation threatened Deportivo away who are 17th and need to match the results of the bottom 3 as only 3 points separate 17th,18th,19th and 20th.

My money's on Valencia, so Zenith will be unseeded.

Also looks like Lyon are getting the pla-off place in France.
