Apparently Wenger wants Grenier.
He's french so there's a 99% chance of it happening.

You do realise that any of the stuff on this thread might not be true Augie,so pointless getting worked up about something that may or may not be true.Just sit back and enjoy the ride
Not getting worked up at all mc - I will say though that I dont know which is worse reading though......being linked with quality players that I know that we wont buy or being linked with average shite that we might actually be interested in signing

Hmmm, could get messy if he brings his entourage.
Eric signing up squad players for his new sports agency.
Drama harrassing Wenger for a trial.
Turtle moving in on the sports marketing angle,
and Ari trying to turn us into an NFL franchise.

The Sun are saying a far more realistic £20m, whereas Sky are quoting $36m (a little over £20m).

I read it here:

The make-up of the fee is interesting, and so are the comments beneath the article.

According to @GuillemBalague Arsenal are very interested in signing Thiago Alcantara from Barca. He now has a €18m release clause. #Arsenal

I'm glad we don't get involved in these large transfer deals - Wenger prefers the "internal" transfer market, where next season, Wilshere, Frimpong, Diaby and Vermaelen - for differing reasons - will all be like new signings!

Maybe a p/ex with TV5? They need defenders it seems.

Yeah I remember reading months ago about the messy 'economic rights' ownership situation.g88ner wrote:Blimey, baffling stuff.Top Londoner wrote:I read it here:

That article reckons he himself will be paid 30 mil euros just for joining though - more than 4 times the annual salary he'll earn - even though he doesn't own any of his economic rights

How will they play him?Top Londoner wrote:Neymar now a Barca player
A return to two strikers?
Or push Xavi and Iniesta a little bit wide, Neymar is just behind Messi, with Busquets and Cesc deep and the full backs pushing up the wings?
Means Villa, Song, Pedro and Thiago Alcantara on the bench.
Strong squad if they can bring in a defender too.
