Podolski and other silly games on tonight

Unbelievable - was there not a teammate to pass to.

Drop him immediately.

Podolski is Germany's best striker imo. A brace so far.

England and Ireland are both sh*t.

Fattie gets a jammy goal and Townsend and Tyledesley have a w*nk.

All the crosses from left and right are awful from both sides bar seamus Colmans'.

How sh*t must Lennon be to not be getting called up to this bang average England squad

presume you are talking about England v Ireland, yeah totally pointless game involving players who complain about playing too much. BUT BUT in the Oirish media this morning our glorious draw against the old enemy is being celebrated like a Virtual Trophy. Forget the humiliation of Euro 2012, forget the 1-6 defeat to Germany at the Aviva. We got a draw against England OLE OLE.

Any Irish Gooners planning to come over to Cologne for a more serious game (WC-qualifier) in October (Friday, 11th)?

Should be a better one...

Fucking embarrassing reaction from the Oirish media arseholes.

We played well (compared to last summer anyway! ) initially and hunted down the Engerlish players well, but in all honesty if Feo and Ox were more clinical the Engerlish should have won 3-1. You could see they were a level above most of our players in their technical play too. Ultimately though it was two not very good teams. Only a friendly of course, but Engerland won't be winning a trophy for a long while yet and Oireland won't even be fucking qualifying for a tourny for a long while yet... :|

So Brazil-England has been prevented from going ahead by a court order regarding safety concerns.

But still any questioning of whether they are ready to host WC is just English trouble-making.
