Good riddance to all three. :barscarf:

For different reasons.

Squllaci was never PL standard, can’t dislike him for that, but good riddance if it frees up another wage.

LegoHead started well with a couple of cracking performances, but very quickly turned to absolute shite. Delighted to see the back of him. My lasting memory of his “contribution” to The Arsenal will be him casually jogging back after Rooney with that gormless smile on his face. Let’s not forget that Rooney started that run from behind LegoHead. I watched in stunned horror as good old LegoHead was then overtaken by the fucking referee! No more will we have to watch him piss the ball straight into touch 5 yards behind his intended target. Or watch him dawdle on the ball, get caught in possession when he was originally under no pressure and then suddenly fire the ball in the general direction of a team mate, said team mate then having to lunge to get a toe to the ball (and many times getting kicked for their trouble) and then that shit “pass” being added to LegoHead’s passing stats for Arsene to wheel out at another of his embarrassing piss-taking press conferences!

Arshavin is a shame really. :( A very gifted footballer with huge skill and vision that Arsene basically played out of position for so long that AA23 finally got the hump and just gave up. I blame both for AA23’s demise. Arsene for misusing him so badly and AA23 himself for not manning up and just giving his best no matter where he was put, the lazy crunt. Still, can’t help but feel we missed out on what could have been something very special with him... :|

That only leaves Camel, Forehead, Mannone, Flappy, Diaby, Djourou, Santos, FrimpSong, Bendtner, Park and Miyaichi to get shot of and maybe we can throw their grossly inflated wages at some actual proper talented footballers!

:suicide:

Deckchair Denilson gone at last. His fate was sealed with his lame jogging to try and catch up with Rooney that day at the Emirates. So yet another colossal failure of "Project Youth".

AW should have got rid sooner, before his contract renewal, as he clearly wasn't up to it, but I don't blame him for signing him. He was captain of the Brazil team he played in (I can't remember the age group) and was acclaimed during the tournament (the same one at which Senderos was voted player of the tournament).
Just shows that good young players aren't guaranteed to become good older players.

I hope that his departure along with some of the other dross we've accumulated over the years will lift some of the air of mediocrity that's been hanging over the club for years. A couple of top signings and I'll be getting all excited again, for a month or two. And then the season will start, but at least I'll have had a good Summer.
denilson captained brazil in the 2005 that reached the under 17 world cup final
senderos played in the switzerland side that won the 2002 under 17 euros

:suicide:
Camel: Bosman, won league and broke CL consecutive goalscoring record, solid targetman. Seemed a good signing
Forehead: Hazard called him the best player he's played with. Bizarrely French clubs still want him, must have been good...
Mannone: youth team player. Doubt his wage is too high.
Flappy: again not going to be on huge wages
Diaby: didn't he sign a contract after a 40 game season?
Djourou: signed after long unbeaten run with him in the team and playing well.
Santos: Needed a LB, Hiddink recommendation. Sure he is overpaid, Brazil international
FrimpSong: youth team player
Bendtner: looked a real prospect
Park: inexplicable
Miyaichi: cheap youth player

Yes, of course the circumstances may have been different at the time and giving out those contracts in 2010 or whatever wasn't as stupid as doing it in 2013.

You could maybe use that to justify 2 or 3 max mistakes of that nature. Not as many as we've had, not by a long shot.

Also, Wenger will have been privy to far more information than us. For example, he would have known that Diaby's cartilage or whatever was full of small tears or shot to shit, as he has since admitted - and he made a mistake in weighing this up against his fitness over a relatively short period.

Thank fuck Denilson's gone. :barscarf: :barscarf:

2 things I'll never forget (or forgive) about him. Jogging back during that ManUre counter attack, and him collapsing on the halfway line in the snow like he'd been shot against Everton.

Also, not sure regarding the hate against Miyachi in this thread. :? He seemed a decent prospect, was showing positive signs at Bolton and then had a bad injury which kept him out for a good while (obviously he shouldn't be on silly money, but he doesn't set the contracts  )

All the rest can fuck off though!

This!

This board has always slagged Ryo off without just cause. The boy's hardly pulled on an Arsenal shirt and we're trying to shove him out the door calling him a flop or what have you. I get the frustration behind our former ''young stars'' but we also need to let these players have a run in the team first.
