SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You must be Joe-king, Newcastle... Flop boss Kinnear makes sensational return as director of football alongside Pardew

-------------

Not really transfer related but, the barcodes are generally 14/1 for relegation. That price will not last. Fill yer boots.

Pardew (c.u.n.t) cannot be happy with this especially after kinnear coming out telling the world that he, and not pardew, will have the final say on all transfers  Tbh it is a baffling appointment - if it was a mega sized club or if it was a club renowed for their consistant development of young players then I could understand it, but what the fcuk do the geordies need a director of football for ? :?

I posted this on the kos thread but it is transfer related so...

Koscielny's agent is in the press this morning talking up the interest of barca and bayern in his player -

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... rs-1956630

Too much of a coincidence for these comments to come up so soon after the players own remarks ? Stinks of a player trying to engineer a move away from the club tbh :rubchin:

I've always been impressed with Nani, but I must admit I very rarely watch anyone other than Arsenal these days, so I'm probably wrong.

Same with Fellaini. He's always looked decent when I've watched him, but again - I've hardly watched Everton unless it's against us - so I've no idea if he's a player we should be spending £20m+ on or not.

I'm not investing much energy in this transfer window at all, as I can't be arsed getting caught up in the make-believe world of the transfer window when I haven't a clue which of the links are genuine and which aren't; and which players are worth signing and which are no improvement whatsoever.

Sadly the abomination that is twitter has completely ruined any interest or enjoyment of the transfer window, as it's basically a trolls paradise and nothing can be considered reliable... even from broadsheets ffs! :?

I think I'll just sit this one out and wait and see what happens.
