Re: F*&k Off Laurent Koscielny
I don't remember Nasri being much use out wide. As I recall his decent few months in an Arsenal shirt came playing through the middle.
Probably twisted by dislike for the bloke but is he really much better than say, a fit Rosicky (getting into the realms of creation)?

Santi and Feo both played wide despite (like Na$ri) preferring a more central rolemarkyp wrote:I was referring to him playing out wide, santi and jack aren't wide men,i was comparing nasri against gervinho and ramsey as wingers and all the other endless tossers weve used out there since the god like pires departed, seriously the mind boggles,i come here to post with like minded people, not to be patronisedhighburyJD wrote:presumably a moment of madness, no way anyone with half a brain can stand by that...Henry Norris 1913 wrote:seriously the mind boggles
both had more effective seasons than Na$ri has ever had,

Re: F*&k Off Laurent Koscielny
to sum this up,to say Nasri is gash is a joke.that was my point, you could never call him gash, not average nor just good, but a very good player, ask most football supporters and they mostly speak highly of him,hes hardly forhead is he or a pub player.to write him off is absurd, sorry if I don't conform to the brain washed masses opinion of any player who wants away from arsenal is shit, was never any good, wont do fuck all for his new club etc.if nasri was still with us we'd be still saying he was a good player, same as when hleb left, all of a sudden he was one of arsene's worst signings, joke!!just like the peeps here who wouldn't want cesc back, absurd.im not and never was nasris number one supporter but with us he produced moments of brilliance, something we now lackhighburyJD wrote:Santi and Feo both played wide despite (like Na$ri) preferring a more central rolemarkyp wrote:I was referring to him playing out wide, santi and jack aren't wide men,i was comparing nasri against gervinho and ramsey as wingers and all the other endless tossers weve used out there since the god like pires departed, seriously the mind boggles,i come here to post with like minded people, not to be patronisedhighburyJD wrote:presumably a moment of madness, no way anyone with half a brain can stand by that...Henry Norris 1913 wrote:seriously the mind boggles

A 'fit' Rosicky is as rare as a day without a twitch for 'Arry Redknapp!!
'Nasri's moments of brilliance'..............ah, you mean several years of crap with 6 months of decent play at the end......mmmmm brilliant wasn't it! ???

Re: F*&k Off Laurent Koscielny
Na$ri is clearly not better than Santi. His best ever season for us, was worse than Cazorla's first and only one.markyp wrote:Nasri has ability, and is better than anything we currently havehighburyJD wrote:Na$ri doesn't have half the quality of Cesc or VanStaplec*nt (or Santi)
Feo had a more productive season goals/assists than Na$ri ever has anywhere in his whole career.
And that's limiting myself to those playing wide.
Would you swap Ox (who had a poor 2nd season) for Na$ri? I wouldn't.
I'd also play Wilshere wide before picking Na$ri, he was lethal coming n from the wing at youth and ressie level.
There's even an argument for Tets who did a good job there for the Toffees.
Suggesting Na$ri 'is better than anything we currently have' was just clearly wrong.
Note: I never said Na$ri was 'gash', just that he didn't deserve to be bracketed with the leagues best players
which Cesc and vanStaplec*nt def were/are.

Re: F*&k Off Laurent Koscielny
Not sure you can quantify the various merits of 2 different players 'best season' merely on such a crude use of stats. A lot would depend on who they performed against and also how/if their presence and other output helped the team as a whole play better / achieve results.

Koscielny: I'm happy at Arsenal
Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from the club this summer.
Koscielny has been reportedly interesting the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich following a strong second half of the season.
Asked if he was seeking a move from Arsenal, Koscielny told reporters: "I never said that. I feel very well at Arsenal.
"I am aware it’s a great club and I have a four-year contract. I know there’s talk about me and Barcelona and Bayern, but people make their own conclusions.
"The facts are simple: I have a contract at a club where I am happy. Full stop. We all know how situations change in football but I repeat that I’m not one to make castles in the sky.
"I live in the moment, I seek nothing but to play the best I can.
"In my mind my goal is to win trophies with Arsenal with whom I’m about to start pre-season training. I’ve no ulterior motives.
"I’m at a healthy club, which plays beautiful football, doesn’t lose money every year, sticks to its own budget and plays in the Champions League. Not many players can say the same."

Nice comments from Kos.
Next time instead of being quick to turn on our (key) players, we should first consider the media's role in it all, i.e. their tendency to spin things out to suit their own agenda.

Re: F*&k Off Laurent Koscielny
He made his comments on June 4th in an interview with Eurosport and his Agent then fanned the flames in the next week or so ………..it takes him almost a month to finally clarify his position .Nice comments from Kos.
Sounds more like damage limitation than an oath of allegiance .
Re:
Except players at every top club in Europe who WIN trophies. This statement sums up everything that is wrong about our club.As long as we dont lose money and get in the CL thats good enough. It fucking isntRed Gunner wrote:

Cant disagree with that and also has to be said that Donaldo's view on what he said seems pretty much on the money too

Equally our players should try and engage their limited brains before spouting off to French/other European media, who invariably do their best to misrepresent what they say and the story will filter back to the UK a few days later. It's just plain fucking stupid.1989 wrote:Nice comments from Kos.
