THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Its SteveO I feel sorry for.

What on earth is he going to do with 300 burgers, 300 sausages and 50 racks of ribs ?

Typical Wenker, to fuck up everybody's plans for a decent summer.

Bouldy hang on in there for just 1 more season. :barscarf:

On a serious note, is it just coincidence that wenger is linked with other supposedly 'more glamorous and financially rewarding' jobs every time his contract has 12 months or so to run? :rubchin: :rubchin:

If you asked me to pick out Wenger's 3 biggest characteristics, the following would feature pretty high:

1) He is a man of principle (even if they are inhibitory, foolish and warped)
2) He knows that he's in a good position (little pressure to deliver trophies, complete control over the club)
3) He doesn't feel the need to prove himself to any fans or pundits

Add to this he is approaching 64 and is already paid more than pretty much any football manager - what motivation does he possibly have for taking the PSG job and the baggage/pressure that come with it???

At least Stalin had some tactics! Also, if people didn't perform, he just shot them, could have saved us millions over the last 8 years!!! :D

I do hope that if this is true and Wenger is finally fucking off at the end of next season that he in no way has any say in who replaces him!! That would be bang out of order and I also hope that he takes his inept medical and shit scouting teams with him! (not to mention the likes of Giroud, Gervinho etc.)
