Sicknote out? [Rosicky to be sold?]

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Erm... you might want to put a few more tampons in your handbag there, Mary Jane.

Only kidding! It’s an internet forum, mate – always going to be a mix of idiotic, extreme, sensible, calm, nonsensical, acurate and deluded views expressed. ....
And in Highbury JD's posts, sometimes all seven of them simultaneously!!

(By the way, anyone else notice that DB10 didn't spell the word 'accurate' accurately? )
I did. Right after I hit "submit". Thought, "best correct that" then thought, "Fuck it. Too lazy." :D 8)

Quality rinsing of JD too!

there is no reason to get rid of him. we wouldnt get much and he's worth more than what we would get. quality player. our 3rd best CM behind cazorla and wilshire. in fact...if we didnt add any DM to our squad this summer I would prefer our starting 3 midfield to be wilshire cazorla and rosicky. rosicky and wilshire are good enough defensively to cover while cazorla presses higher. thats a better option than ramsey or arteta imo.

Rosicky as a DM?! Well, it would be great for the 20 to 25 minutes it would take for him to get injured!

His injury record in the last two years hasn't been awful and he adds good depth to the squad. For 2m, I'd rather have him as a backup player. He has proven in a few games last year that he is capable of making an impact at times.

Selling him would be a step backwards, IMO. Yes we need better players ahead of him, but that doesn't mean we should sell everyone who isn't starting 11 material.

He is not quick enough to play on the wing and if we bring Fellani in there is no room in the middle for him. Wilshere, Ramsey, Arteta, Fellani, Cazorla if he is not being wasted on the wing and Diaby for the 2 games he is fit for every season.

I would also sell him and wish him well because injuries aside he was a good servant.

Agree Barriecuda, he tries to inject some positivity to our play - always looks to go forward with the ball and not sideways backwards.

For the relative small fee quoted of £2m I would rather keep him to retain experience and depth to our squad assuming that he stays fit.
Don't want to see our first choice midfield overplayed if we have an opportunity in matches to give key players (Wilshire / Santi) a break. He could also captain the Carling Cup squad etc

I'll be sad to see the back of Rosicknote - doesn't deserve some of the shit he gets on here. Season before last I thought he was one of the main factors in overhauling the Spuds on the march to the Virtual Trophy.

There's a much longer line of shite to get rid of before him

Part of the problem. Bye bye Tomas. We'll miss your couple of game every season

Who's going to look utterly disinterested on the bench when we score, or turn his back on free kicks, eh?

No tears here...just wish he was being joined by another 5 or so....there's still hope. :barscarf: :D
