The "Clive Xhakatard is a C*nt" c*nt Thread

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Fair point (although teriyaki is also over-rated). That's as far as my gastronomic experience of Japanese cuisine goes at this point. :(

Big fan of Irish stew though, mate. :barscarf:(hmm... I wonder what Irish sausages dipped in a Guinness "gravy" would be like? :rubchin: )
Have to admit I didn't try Oirish stew until I was about 15 and we moved back here from Australia. But on a bitter cold wet winter's night there is NOTHING better than coming home to a proper Oirish stew. 8)

Strangely it is actually quite difficult to get decent sausages (steady GayJay!  ) in Oireland. Vast majority are just shit (sometimes literally!! :D ). I much prefer your Engerlish sausage (no Oirish woman, or indeed Engerlish woman, has EVER said THAT!  ).

Christ I'm actually double entendre'd out... :barmaid:

:-P

Our bacon shits all over yours though... 8)

Paul Merson / his book publisher - for describing the build up to Michael Thomas's legendary title winning goal at Anfield all wrong!! :banghead: :banghead:   Even if Merse was too much of a piss head to remember it at the time, he's surely seen more than enough replays to at least get the sequence of events and the players involved in the move right.

And if the reason he hasn't is because his one brain cell has been too diminished by his boozing and drug taking, then his publishers/ghost writer/the proof reader should have spotted the errors!! Makes me wonder if it's worth reading the rest of the book now if they can't even get an iconic event like May 26th 1989 right.

The latter. Someone got me it as a gift - despite buying Rock Bottom when it came out a few years ago, I wouldn't have bought this - so I decided to start reading it the other day. Got to the second chapter and the mention of Anfield and I don't think I want to read anything else because if his memory of 1989 is anything to go by, I'm not sure I could trust the veracity of what he has written.

Yeah I enjoyed Rock Bottom but the second one is aimed at the Soccer Saturday/after-dinner circuit - cheap laughs aplenty but if you're looking for insight into the Arsenal give it a miss.

What and miss out on such wonderful tales such as taking a dump on David Seaman's balcony on tour  or having a w*nk every 5 mins but calling it waxing the dolphin

Oh dear now I've spoilt the plotline.

"Waxing the dolphin" and "lorryload of pints" were both used unbelievably excessively.

Beat me to it, the guy is an attention seeking tosser.

Post something provocative
When Wenger eventually leaves Arsenal how will the people who constantly abuse him fill their days? Soothing EDL walks, presumably.
Wait for replies, after a few minutes post clarification
You can think Wenger isn't the man for the job anymore without calling him a *word censored* or a pedophile. Honest.
Then talk down to those who replied
you didn't read the follow up tweet did you son?
please keep up fellas, read the follow up tweet.
steady on glen, read my follow up tweet and clock the word abuse.

Aston Villa.

I know there are plenty of scumbag, mercenary footballers (Tevez, Adebarndoor etc), but clubs can be tossers as well.

Villa wanted Given and Bent at the club, made an offer for them, agreed a contract etc. Now they want them out, so they're having to train with the youth team and are not going on the pre-season tour. This 'treat them like shit and they might just fuck off' tactic is despicable. I'd love to see them say they're happy to play for the reserves on 60k a week for the next couple of years.

I wouldn't want Bent as our first choice striker, but surely he's worth a squad number.
