SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Why "even" Ibrahimovic? :? is he some sort of business guru? or well respected voice in sport?

Erm, no - the guy changes clubs as often as his underpants; chasing the money as he goes. He's the ultimate premium priced gun for hire (and fair play, he's good at it too!) so it doesn't surprise me one bit that the guy wouldn't understand the way Arsenal operate... and quite frankly, he's hardly qualified to pass judgement anyway, so fuck him and his uneducated opinions; they're irrelevant.
its the fact that hes said it at all which is the problem, even a complete fool with no knowledge of football can see that WE ARE a laughing stock, how did we get to this,oh yes, theres only one Arsole Wenker :barscarf:
We're not a laughing stock. Surely that's more than a little OTT.

In fact, taking everything into account, there's only a handful of clubs worldwide I'd swap our current position for.

Everybody calm down and be like a couple of Fonzies ; as long as the signings are made for the 1st day of pre season, there is no problem.

We are a laughing stock. The media absolutely loves to torment us . They have a fascination with our trophy drought, and take pleasure at our struggle to remain respectable when there are 2 sugar daddy clubs and UTD.

There's only one thing that makes us look like we kick ass when signing players................and that's how f*cking long it takes us to sell the useless feckers when they turn out to be utter shite!! 8)

Seriously, if Wenger went to a boot fair and saw an old one franc coin on sale for 10p he would try for 2 hours to knock the guy down to 5p for it.
Gazidis gives it all the bollocks about we have money to spend, we can afford the likes of Rooney etc and we all know we DO have the money for that, but Arsenal....and most importantly, Wenger, will not pay big big bucks for a player. It's kids and Frenchmen, that is the only thing in Wenger's mind.....

Apparently there is a Planet (some 23,000,000,000,000 light years from us) where everthing is exactly the same...I wonder if there is a football club called Arsenal FC there ..and if so do they also have an inept Board and manager who are all *word censored* and couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery?

:rubchin:

One for Hlebby me thinks!
