As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

£23mil, £100k per week.
Marca haven't confirmed anything
They're saying "according to foxsport" so it's nothing we didn't know already.
It's probably true, but as always, the internet merry-go-round is picking up the same story and spreading it everywhere on the back of the same source. I'm almost expecting an "exclusive" from Goal.com and a "sensational scoop" from elsewhere basically regurgitating the exact same story (they may even add bells and whistles to it, and say he's just logged on to BA and bought a one way ticket to Heathrow )
Wasn't it Marca along with AS - two of Spain's most reputable papers - who claimed that terms had been agreed and it was just a case of the fee being finalised a fortnight ago?

Sorry edit already there lol
That prick Daniel Levy will probably be hanging about in the arrivals with a "Mr. Higuain" hand written sign like a cab driver ready to try and kidnap him.

Well Mr. Higuain will get a cab back like Mr Manu Petit

Anyway I can see Barry and his experience fitting in quite well at DM. Obviously many disagree as they do about Wilshere as a bulldog striker but maybe I am the only one that sees him potentially matching Aguero, Tevez et al in style. Those that feel he isn't fast enough don't understand pace is only relevant for a certain type of striker.
Anyway
Really?
I think you will find that most posters here know a number 10 does not have to be the fastest on his feet, but does need a quick brain.
But a number 9 type striker without pace?
Cannot see many ways how such a player can be top class in today's game, unless it is a scenario where he is tall and very consistent with headers and the whole team is set up to provide crosses to him, and even that is not very common in the English game any more.

It's all true; it's part of AW's new 2-1-6 formation. If we can't defend we might as well try and score a shedload.
