THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

of course we desperately need a striker and I'll be delighted if get Higuain
but if we can get our money back on Gervinho (then spend it) I'll be deEFFINGlighted
As will I. But who is insane enough to do that? I would be delighted if we shipped him out for £5m. Hell, I'd be happy to give him away for nothing because him stumbling around the field not knowing the different between a first touch and a long ball is far more of a liability than it is an asset. I just don't see Wenger letting us sell him cheap and admitting he made a huge mistake - he obviously thinks Gervinho is decent as well, unlike Park who he obviously realised was shit straight off the bat, hence the lack of playing time.

you're of course right, I'm foolishly allowing myself to be sucked in my BS about Turkish and French teams (Gala, Fener, Lyon and most of all Marseille) wanting him...

Has Wenger actually come back from his summer break?
No comments attributed to him on anything since the end of last season.
Maybe he is keeping his head down in preparation for his looming contract extension.

mmmmm I'm undecided to be honest, if he were to make 5 world class signings this summer then I will worship him

Can you imagine what he'll be asking for as part of his 'new' contract? He almost runs the club single handedly already and I bet he wants more power going forwards. It's frightening to think of the power he not only has, but will have at the club!!

If he buys 5 world class players but still doesn't win trilogy's then that just says he's a good negotiator. It's a shame managers these days don't actual manage players. It's buy and sell and hope - how about polishing a rough diamond every now and again.

He will probably buy the club at the end of his contract anyhow so won't need to ask for anything from the board

All I want is one, just one little cup, which is not Emirates cup or something we made up, so people will shut the :censored: up.. but no, we will be in cup final and will play with reserves because being eliminated in CL QF by Barca is way more important..
Buy buy and win or bye bye and we also win :)

Is "outed" a euphemism for "butt-fucked to within an inch of insanity"? :rubchin:

:-P

YES! ...well I assume so, as even Hashkads was walking bandy legged for a week and he's seen off the like of fwank, art garfunkel & co....so I would hazard a guess you've hit that one on the nail! :high5:

News that Wenger is in talks to sign a new contract.

Just fuck off Arsenal FC.

Board, Gazidis, Stan, everfuckingbody OUT!
This is why we need new blood in the fucking boardroom... someone with a pair fucking big enough to sack the manager or refuse to offer him a new contract. Not the spineless bunch of senile old :censored: we have now, who are scared stiff of Wenker and wouldn't have a word said against him. This has seriously fucked me off! :banghead:
SteveO best you light the BBQ. :barscarf:
That inevitable day of meat eating celebration is getting ever closer. I've even got Rodders a bottle of JD to celebrate that fine day

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

So that will inolve Augie and Hashkads AND SteveO and Wenker!

Wenger has tried polishing diamonds for the last 8 years or so now, problem is, they were actually turds and we all know you can't polish a turd!!
