Rooney, will you leave 250k a week, all the trophies & your family in the North west behind?
What for?
No trophies, 100k a week, no family & the opportunity to play alongside Gervinho, Sanogo & Ramsey?
WILL I! WHERE DO I SIGN!!

Wenger must be a due a press conference during this tour. I'm probably one of the few that is genuinely interested to hear what he has to say! Only because I expect him to put a lot of the bullshit (Suarez, Rooney etc) to bed...

Looks another Bendtner move breaks down. He has one year left on his contract so if we can't find anyone to buy him, we'll probably have to loan him out again.Red Gunner wrote:Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt
Eintracht Frankfurt are in talks with the Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner over a possible £3m transfer.
The Bundesliga club said on its website that it had held "concluding talks" with the 25-year-old Dane and his agents on Tuesday. Bendtner joined Arsenal eight years ago but has not played for them since August 2011, having been sent on season-long loans to Sunderland and Juventus.
Frankfurt added that their sporting director Bruno Hübner was in "close contact" with Arsène Wenger and a decision would be made "in the next couple of days".

Bendtner's wage demands mean he's likely to stay at Arsenal, says Frankfurt chairman
Nicklas Bendtner's proposed transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt is in doubt after chairman Heribert Bruchhagen questioned whether the club could afford to sign him.
The Denmark striker has long been surplus to Arsenal's requirements and had appeared on the verge of a transfer to Germany after he travelled to the Commerzbank-Arena to discuss personal terms.
Bruchhagen has revealed, however, that Bendtner's wage demands have stalled any progress that was being made and that the 25-year-old's arrival now appears unlikely.
'After weighing up all the arguments, Bendtner turned out not to be a realistic prospect,' he told kicker.de.
'Now it's up to us. There are no problems with Arsenal. We have to see if it's financially viable.'
After failing to truly convince while on loan with Sunderland in 2011/2012, Bendtner spent last season at Serie A champions Juventus but failed to secure a permanent transfer having not scored a solitary goal.
Jose Mourinho refuses to rule out Chelsea move for Wayne RooneyBradywasking wrote:Has to be more to Rooney coming home than officially meets the eye ..but I think if he leaves he is Chelsea bound, basing that on mathematics and who will pay him / United the most.
José Mourinho, the Chelsea manager, has refused to rule out a move for Manchester United's Wayne Rooney, describing him as a "fast and direct" footballer who he likes very much.
Mourinho, talking in Bangkok after Chelsea had arrived for their pre-season tour, tried to play down discussion about whether the unsettled Rooney would move from Old Trafford to Stamford Bridge this summer.
"It's a funny, tricky question from an ethical point of view as I can't talk about players from other teams," Mourinho said.
"But it is not my character to speak with hypocrisy, I always tell what I see. He's a player that I like very much. Being fast and direct I like him very much, but he's a Manchester United player."
Rooney flew home from United's own tour, which also started in Bangkok, after a scan revealed a hamstring tear on Thursday.

What a complete twat. I can only presume that he's high-5ing him after giving him a ten year deal on £100,000 a week.

Lets put cynicism aside for a while. The next two weeks are crucial for the club in fulfilling one of the three key objectives for the season, namely expanding the Asian support base, through increased positive brand exposure.
Once that has been completed, the club can focus on the remaining two interlinked objectives - spending as little of your precious money as possible in the transfer market, while still achieving the coveted and prestigious Champions League Qualification. The CL Qualification will bring the club more money to add to that made from our ventures in Asia, and thats without even taking into account the money saved season on season through Wenger's astute transfer dealings. Exciting times ahead!
