SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Juan Mata all over again this one. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: We are fucking useless.

Dan. You gotta stop that head banging mate. You'll get a blood clot.
The player ain't worth that fee, and we were quite probably NEVER in for him.
Suarez ain't worth what we are 'PREPARED' to offer.
Rooney (paper talk) is playing us.
Wenger told his plebs to piss off the MINORITY before he went on the tour.
Gooner2Gooner posters ARE the minority.
Deja Vu, but like I said before,,,,,,,,,,,, hopeful supporters have been played like a Stradivarius.

WE ARE THE MINORITY.

Wenger having the opportunity to sign a new, improved contract is a slap in the face for the common supporter.

He is without doubt, an immoral, egotistical, unbelievable and untrustworthy keeper of ARSENAL FC.

Don't get yer knickers in a twist, we shall finish 4th.

:D

Your Y fronts will be fitting like a thong by the time this transfer window is over, if you believe that we are gonna sign off £70-120m in fees and wages Bourney.

Sometimes, not that often mind, but sometimes I feel that way rodders but most of the time I don't give a fcuk any more  Is my new found apathy due to an realisation (not acceptance mind) that we are all we will ever be under wenger and this current board or is it down to the fact that the c.unts are no longer getting over two grand of my money every season so am not feeling as robbed as I used to feel ? Probably it is a mixture of both tbh but I do find it baffling how some continue to believe that this will be a successful transfer window  For me a good transfer window will be one that see's wenker fcuk off for good

I prefer the apathetic, calm and tranquilised augie. So do his kids I reckon.

Just goes to show how fragile our defensive resources are and why we desperately need some more cover at the back!! :banghead: :banghead:

True :(

It's hardly a secret, but we're going to need another centre back this summer! - someone with experience and happy to sit on the bench... I wonder if Squillaci is still available? :rubchin:

In all seriousness though, considering we need a 'keeper, centre back, midfielder and striker (and playmaker, in my opnion!), we're running low on time :? - could be a busy August. I hope! :(

I'm going to say something controversial. I think so far this summer, whilst it hasn't been glowing or active, we are doing well. So far we have got rid off most of the dead wood. AW maybe a tight prick but he's right we need quality. No more Parks, Chamakhs, Squids, Santos' we need the right players. Real are playing hardball with Higgy and it isn't our fault for that, or that the media have sensationalized it.

If we havent bought in 2 weeks i'll be worried.

Still confident that we will make at least 4 signings,
need a much better strike rate of instantly ready players
Than we got from our 8-2 trolley dash

Maybe we'll see Sagna feature there at the start of the season?

I can imagine Vermaelen's injury (already said to be a few months) turning into another farce with setback after setback before we finally decide in November he needs surgery and then he's out til March.
